Why? Because you say so? :huh

I refer to those posters as idiots because they either say stupid **** or because they refer to me in kind.

You for instance, are an idiot to me. I've never seen a post of any real substance from you in the 3-4 years I've been posting here. I don't agree with much of what Punisher33 says but at least he adds something to the forum, you add nothing. Go away you insect.

Today's HW division is alive & well & if you don't like it, don't watch it. It's that simple. Somehow you found enough interest in the division to post in a thread about it.

I never said today's HW's are better because they are bigger, you are also apparently a liar. Big surprise there..............:yep

I don't care if you think my boxing knowledge is limited, I think you have none, or maybe you would write on topic rather than these sad attempts at personal attacks. Good luck with that scooter............

I also never said Wladimir was currently a top 10 ATG at HW.

LongSlob is what your old lady does on my mysterious man parts, pal.
All bull**** aside, Bowe was already brain damaged from his fights with Evander. If you want to give examples of Bowe at his worst then why don't we just pit Bowe against Vlad from his 3 ko losses. Styles make fights? Who the hell is more stationary than Brock? He is a low talent straight up boxer. He stood in Vlads mouth and fought him on even terms before Vlad started moving and Brock got tired. Bowe could jab well enough to tag Vlad a few times and make him panic. It worked for Brewster. Also, Bowe would be the only guy that Vlad ever fought that could force Vlad to fight in close. Vlads had to jab and grab 95 times versus Peter. You mean to tell me that he's not gonna get busted up in close with a guy his own size that is the best infighting big man of all time. I just realized that you are a boxing ******. You have too much Vlad nutt sweat in your eyes to see clearly. Have a good one.

lewis seems more stirdy, toughter and smarter than wlad, and was tested against sterling competition.

i think he would steamroll wlad, as would hoylfield and peak tyson. i'd give him 50/50 against bowe as wlad would struggle with bowe's peak sweet combinations (when he was conditioned). wlad would destroy moorer as he's made for him.

going back an era, i think wlad v cooney would be a close one as well as wlad v michael spinks

    1. I don't have an ol' lady, she's quite young thanks for asking.

    2. Brock did fairly well early in the fight vs. Wlad so apparently you haven't seen the fight yet or you watched it while drunk, stoned or just stupid.

    3. Bowe probably had the shortest "prime" of any HW boxer - ever. 2 wins out of 3 fights with Holyfield.

Cooney would have little more than a puncher's chance vs. Wlad. Spinks was too small to be much of a threat.

    Holyfield doesn't "steam roll" anyone.

Thanks for giving me some props in your post, I knew it was only a matter of time before you would take notice of my greatness lol.

Now if only I could come up with a way to convince you that Sam Peter is a good fighter.:think

No problem, I'm here to help! :good

Sam Peter can prove he's good by defeating Maskaev..............he can be ranked no less than #4 and possibly as high as #2 depending on how dominate he looks beating him.

At this time at I have Peter tied with Chagaev at the 2 spot, because of Chagaev's inactivity. If Peter wins the Maskaev fight he should be in everyones 2 spot IMO, unless Peter has another bad night like he had against Mccline. I guess will have to wait and see what kind of performance the "Nigerian Nightmare" puts on, I think a one punch knockouts in the forecast.:yep

Whats your early perdiction for the Maskaev/Peter fight?

I think Wlad's more than halfway toward having achieved enough to be considered a great fighter, but he's just an embarassing KO loss or two away from never getting there. If he fought three times a year instead of twice, it might help. The politics of boxing may have slowed his progress - unification fights should have happened in late 2006 and 2007 but did not, but Wlad wasn't to blame for it.

I see Wladimir as a fighter who has all the qualities to become an all-time great except for a good chin. When I re-watch the Sanders fight, it's very hard to think of him as a great boxer, yet in many of his other fights he's been very impressive.

    Perfect quote.

China Chinned Rahman. China Chinned Rahman that Corrie Sanders couldn't KO, and lost to?

China Chinned Rahman that got KD (out of the ****ing ring from memory?) against Corrie Sanders - but got back up and KO'd Sanders himself?

At a time when Sanders was active and in contention for a title shot?? (that win by Rahman was what got him the shot v Lewis).

Wlad had a bit more trouble with an older, fatter, less active Corrie Sanders didn't he?

So if "China Chinned Rahman" got back up from Sanders, and KO'd him. What does that make Wlads chin? Significantly worse than Rahmans by the look of it.

Crystal? cobweb? I don't know, you tell me. But on the evidence, certainly not as good as china.....

    1. Blow up dolls don't really qualify as ladies do they.

    2. Reread the post if you have the ability. My point was that Brock did great with Vlad until the final round. Brock is a straight up guy that boxes from the outside. He shows nothing that Bowe did'nt. Actually, he is a hell of alot less in every category. You made a bull**** statement about Vlad stopping Bowe in 5 that you have yet to back up.

    3. He had 37 pro fights before he fought Golota. He had a brutal trilogy with a prime Holyfield and doctors agreed that he sustained brain damage in those fights. Not to mention that he showed up fat and out of shape at 252 pounds for the 1st Golota fight. He sustained more damage in that fight. You are missing the point. He frustrated Golota and made him quit. Golota was throwing the low blows because he was looking for a way out of the fight because he could'nt stop Riddick and he was tired. Bowe was tougher and had more will than Vlad will ever have. Bowe TKO10

Ok please stop. Wlad did not lose to Sanders, but to Sanders lucky superpowerful hand that landed much harder on Wlad, not as much on Rahman. Watch both vids and u cna well see that Sanders's hit was much stronger against Wlad.

Also, 3 years of difference in hand power doesn't really change.
