I ran across this article (below) with Leonard ranked #8 all-time and I know Ring magizine has Leonard ranked #8 on their list of the 80 Best Fighters of the Last 80 Years maybe I have not given this guy his due! I also see he "retired" from age 28-35 the prime years for a boxer. I have always know he was one of the "Greats" of boxing but where you guys got him? http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=8921&more=1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_the_80_Best_Fighters_of_the_Last_80_Years
Benny Leonard was as great as anyone tells you. His resume and ability as a fighter cannot be overstated.
#2 Lightweight literally a hair's breadth behind Duran, top 10 P4P. A strategic genious and one of the few I'd put over the other Leonard in this department.
I trade off the top lightweight spot between him and Duran, and he's a certain top 10 P4P. Usually put him at #9.
Tier1 at lw alongside Duran. Tier5 all-time alongside Whitaker and Wilde equalling a ranking between 14 and 17. A bit low compared to the rest on here it seems.
I have him just outside my top 10, he would be around 12 probably which is lower than most on here, must admit he is not a fighter i have studied in great depth, will have to though
