My instinct was always Driscoll > Welsh and I invariably have him like 5 or 6 on my list of British fighters. But there isn't much science involved in my thinking, its literally just a feeling that I havn't researched greatly. Just looked over the records and was impressed by him on film.
Even if you just watch the tiny amount of footage on YouTube, you can see this guy had unreal ability and definitely an X factor about him. His reactions are like lightning, even on shitty quality video. It's easy to see why he was considered a defensive wizard.
Yep, it's clear that Driscolls skill set was very formidable. Coupled with a decent whack and durability, and it paints the picture of a great fighter. The footage of him is a revelation.
