Top 15 at lightweight, and perhaps the best pure boxer that the UK has ever produced.

Ortiz ranks among the all-time greats in boxing history.

When Buchanan beat him, he retired.

Buchanan was a tremendous boxer. Didn't have a lot of pop, but with his skills he didn't need it.

Better than Driscoll ? Winstone ?

I would say in many ways more complete than either of them in terms of punch variety and technique. Driscoll may have been a harder puncher, and Winstone was maybe a little more elusive on the whole, but in terms of total package, you can't do much better than Buchanan.

I'd say Driscoll may have been more elusive myself ,but Ken belongs in their company,so no argument ,just a query.,Second tier to them? Macgowan?
