I really don't rate Spence victory over Garcia. If anything I give Garcia credit for going the distance against a larger, stronger equally skilled fighter.
It was alright he showed a different skill that I thought he didn't have It's a light weight I get it It's a light weight that many expected to be the more skillful or the two ? Note: this Is an opinion dont cry about it and get emotional feel to disagree.
A good win. Spence’s performance exceeded my expectations of him and fought smart. Spence neutralized Mikey’s counters, which isn’t easy to do and Spence was also very cautious when he fought against Mikey and was wise not to try and force the stoppage, since Mikey was waiting for Spence to make that mistake and walk into a counter, but Spence stuck to the plan.
As expected. Garcia has no business against the elite at 147 and even at 140 I think Prograis and Taylor beat him. His true weight is at 135.
Within his proper weight range, he did seem one in the making before that ill-advised climb smashed up his already stop-and-go momentum..
Spence outboxed Garcia and looked great doing it apart from when he backed off going backwards at times and got caught, Bud would have been more impressive v Garcia.
