Don't think so, Morales and Mayweather will match up well displaying pure boxing ability. But Mayweather would pull away with his superior athletic ability.

But to watch both guys displaying there skills and talent against each other would be amazing to watch.

I dont think you have seen his last few fights. He obviously carried his power up to 140. He stopped a young Cano. And hurt and stunned Maidana. The power obviously carried well enough to hurt people.

Wouldnt be able to beat guys to the punch??? Morales is a counter puncher dude. His speed is what allows him to do it. Obviously he i not going to beat Pac to the punch but guys like Corrales, Casamayor and Castillo.

**** he can still pull off his pull counter right hand which is a thing of beauty. I think the thing that has surprised me most about Morales since his comeback is his speed.

That one dimensional Maidana gave Khan the number 1 140 pounder hell and arguably could have been given the win. This division is stacked and Maidana is towards the top. One dimensional is hardly the word i would use to describe Maidana.

Also i am going on record to say Cano will be at the top of 140 also. The kid was not a bum like i expected. He has good technical skills with good power. Speed aint bad either.

I dont think Pac would have stopped Morales had he moved up to 135 immediately. He was more weight drained than shot. Also Morales had been fighting for 14 years by then and been in dozens of wars.

But whatever lets not turn this into a Pac-Morales thread.

Its no secret that Morales was completely drained in the Pacquiao rematch. Even the rubber match he was done for. Getting beat up and holding a low bodyweight was bad for him.

I was somewhat impressed by Morales in his last fight even tho he looked like a shell of his former self

I`ve thought about this myself too, I think he would probably have been a legitimate no questions asked 5 weight world champion... I still don`t think he would have been as fresh as say Mayweather because he still takes more shots than necessary in order to land his offense but no doubt the hard career vs the elite mixed with his style, bad living between fights later on AND making crazy weights that he should not have been making all combined to shorten one of the greatest careers of the last 20 years.

Yep, the legs & defensive reflexes are badly diminished but his hands, heart & will to win are still the same... the guy is all warrior, a true boxing legend.

Bradley is such a spoiler though that i think we would get an ugly fight in which he clinches and headbutts his way to victory. His clinch is too damn strong.

Marquez-Morales is now looking even better than before.

Cano is ****, he will never be anywhere near the top of the division. He got beat up by a shot morales that should tell you all there is to know about the kid.

And maidana is one dimensional as they come, he has no plan B, he caught a glass chinned khan finally with one good shot but couldn't finish him off.

He needed to move to 135lbs right after the first Pacquiao fight but instead he was fighting at a catchweight (that he couldn't make) then despite not being able to make the 133lbs in the followup fight with Raheem and looking horrible the next fight he's kills himself to make 130lbs twice so Pac could get a chance to rebuild his stock. He should have retired late 2008 early 2009 with his final weight being around 140.

So you dont think that fight was close enough that it could have gone the other way??
I think Khan deserved the win but that was a very close fight. If you dont think so then you are obviously a biased fan.
