How happy do you think Khan is about Murray losing?

I heard after Khan heard about Murray lossing he took a day off training told Alex and Roach to **** themselves for the day, called some high class hookers round his pad and him and Saj ****ed 2 chicks each.

 

How would you feel if some bum who kept calling you out for years, disrespected you finally got exposed. Too many domestic bums suffer from Khan envy syndrome

Not saying Khan isn't better than Murray but in terms of common opponents:

Mitchell > Murray > Prescott > Khan

Murray lies somewhere between Mitchell and Prescott seeing as he put up a better fight than Breidis Prescott did against Mitchell.

Do we really know that Khan would beat someone like Kevin Mitchell?

 

Like it or not Khan has been fighting at world level for the past couple of years, Mitchell on the other hand has shown he's a top domestic LW and pretty much that's it...

 

I don't disagree with that but technically Khan hasn't really proven it. He's been managed very well.. that's about it.

How many advantages has Amir Khan had in his career over someone like John Murray who worked his way up from nothing?

Not having a go at Amir, I like him and he's definitely stepped up a bit the last year or so but everything is put on a plate for him. It's a fact that the only half-decent common opponent Khan and Mitchell have is Breidis Prescott and we all know what happened there.

It's still hypocritical for Khan to say that John Murray hasn't achieved anything when he held the British and European titles that Khan never even went near.

 

Do you think the same for Khan Ortiz too as Maidana being the common opponent.

 

Technically he has proven it. Beating 4 at the time top 10 rated JWWs (Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana, McCloskey) is called proving it. 3 of those were top 5 I believe. He has the 2nd best resume in his division and will arguably be on par or ahead of Bradley if he beats Judah this week.

That has absolutely nothing to do with whether Amir Khan is better than the likes of Mitchell or Murray. Even if they were given better opportunities they would have to go and do the job in the ring. Fwank had set the stage for Mitchell's career to take off in a big way. Mitchell had his chance against Katsidis and lost. Murray had his chance to beat Mitchell and get a world shot and now he lost. Whether they can go on after a loss and become world class is yet to be seen.

 

What a stupid ****ing comment. Yeah everything been put on a plate for him. Somehow a 17 yr old kid qualified to go to the Olympics because of what...family connections :roll: or was it on merit. How did he win that Silver medal.

Opportunities are given to those who can perform at the highest level. Sure Khan had the exposure after the Olympics, but unless your a complete ****ing moron, I'd say he earnt that given that at the tender age of only 17 he came home with a Silver medal.

That devastating loss he suffered at the hands of Prescott, Khan gave a post fight interview, conference and even went to a public social event the next day even though his ego must of taken a battering. This shows how tough this guy is mentally, which alot of ppl have no clue about, where is Murray after his loss to Mitchell, did he care to give his opinion, or will he self destruct for a year or so like Mitchell than be bought back by Frank.

Amir Khan is talented, Amir Khan is mentally strong and determined that is the reason he is where he is. Period

To be the man, you have got to beat the man! John Murray never beat a reigning champion, so you could say he was handed all his titles on a plate, much like he was handed the decision over the Ice cream man Al-Hamidi.

Its a disgrace that you're a 31-0 fighter, yet the best name on your record is a 38 year old Jon Thanxton coming off a loss to a builder who boxes on his days off.

Especially when somebody like Haye was on his way to unifying a second divison in his 25th fight and Khan his first.

 

Mitchell > Murray > Prescott > Khan > Barrera > Morales > Pacquiao

I think everyone realised what Murray's level was a year or 2 ago, European level at best.

His style and the way he fights.... he really is a poor mans Ricky Hatton!
