Good stuff. Im feeling my work out from yesterday. I did a bit of everything. My pecs traps and quads/glutes are all feeling sore. God i lurrrve that feeling!
I only train BOXING 3 times a week. I'll alternate doing punch isometrics with some handspeed drills in the morning (kind of like a warm up) before I run or do some conditioning and later at night on I'll shadowbox for around a half hour if the gym isnt open. I'll alternate between plyometrics and abs after that. I strength train within my cardio by using a machine like a treadmill, bike, rower, elliptical etc (its winter so I stay indoors) and every 5 minutes I'll bust out some weighted pullups or one arm pushups and go back on the cardio. Saves time that way. It's not really hard if you just segment it well and as long as it fits your lifestyle. It's a pain in the ass to work out in the evening if I have to work that night as well.
pfft siberia? that balmy place? nah Im in grande prairie, ab in canada. btw that was -40 without windchill and this place 'blows' if you get my meaning. Every winter we have about twenty days in total thats -40ish so Im kind of used to it. Used to it meaning I stay the hell inside!
i train as hard as possible until my body demands a break or i have too many classes and private lessons to train
Haha, only joking mate, I'm in Stoke-on-Trent. Been alright this morning just got back, was no where near as cold as yesterday.
Yep. I usually go 3 times a week. Monday night, Wednesday afternoon and Friday night plus the very occaisional Sunday afternoon. I try to work out as hard as possible. Full body work out with no breaks. Just bish, bosh bang and out. I do make sure I have my rest days even though my body feels pretty fine the day after, I guess at 24 it is my age keeping me feeling fine although I do get a good bath and a massage when I get hom with the wife. :hey:hey:hey My Sunday workouts are usually just cardio and maybe me doing a little work on an area I want to improve. How long do you guys work out for?
i train full out every time. here is my busting sum mad skills a few months ago. I'm getting ready for my first pro MMA fight. [yt]Epo8F06VrUU&feature=channel[/yt]
Prolly box bout 3 times a week and run/gym 2 or 3 times a week. I know what you mean about those guys that treat it like boxercise or tae bo or something and use up valuable space with their leotards
