i train extremley hard. my motto is if your there give it your all and the ethic of my boxing gym would expect nothing less. im there 3 days a week for 2 hours a go and never leave without being utterly exhausted yet feeling stronger and fitter for it. every punch i throw or foot i move i put in as much thought as possible to improve myself outside the gym its 3 6 miles runs a week with 6 rounds a day on my own floor to ceiling ball and lots of sit ups
My training routine will be different from you guys because i dont box anymore i do triathlon and marathons i will train 6 days a week 1 day i will do a 18 or 36 mile cycle,Run 20-30 miles a week over 2-3 days fit a swim in once or twice a week and then do 2 weight sessions in the gym for strength.
amateur boxer season starts in September time and fizzles out by about May Then after the summer..........starts back up in September
depends on what you are going for. i do a three day split for weights, and it works really well for me.
