None of those punches came close to touching Wlads weak chin, the one hit off his nose, the other was around the cheek area, if you can Widdow_Maker, can you find the youtube clips and play them in real speed, I dont think the punches landed nearly as flush as you described, it's tough tell how well a punch landed through still frame.
So if they didn´t land that clean...you´ve got Peters problem right there. He can´t land hard punches good enough to knock top tier fighters out !
So now the hardest punchers in the division have to hit Wlad directly on the Chin, with full power in order for him to go down? I wouldn't call that a glass jaw then. As any boxer in history could go down with a full shot directly to the chin, from a major power puncher. Now, if the punch is directly on the jaw, from a huge power puncher... it doesn't count. Just nonsense.
I think what Peter fans want if for Klitschko to stand upright with his hands down at his waist and allow Peter to hit him flush on the chin just like Williams. See, see! Peter is a monster puncher! Let's have Peter stand on one foot with his eyes closed while Klitschko hits him with a flush left hook.
No, you were the one that made the idiotic claim, that the same power punch Peter landed on Williams, was the same punch he landed on Wlad, the difference is Peter got his whole weight behind the punch he hit Williams with, the punches he caught Wlad with were mostly arm punches, and the ones he did land that were cleaner, put Wlad into a panic attack, where he couldnt catch his balance, because he was so rocked.
Yes, it's pathetic. Wlad could go into the ring handcuffed, and take punches from Peter for a round... if he didn't go down, then the punches weren't hard. If he did, then they were monster shots. Had Wlad been knocked out with one of those punches that Peter hit him with, they would be talking about how HUGE and GREAT of a shot it was. Instead, they are left analyzing the placement of each power punch landed, and pointing out that it landed on the "jaw" and not "directly on the chin".:rofl It's sad.
Give it up, the fact that you think Wlad got hit with the same kind of punch that Peter hit Williams with, is beyond delusional, and might get a spot on Fightingweights dumb qoute of the week award. I have told you already, Wlad impressed me more that night, than every other fight he has had combined. The reason he got through that fight, was the help of Manny in his corner and his brilliant clinches he commited to over 95 times during the fight, if it was 3 years earlier Wlad would of lost, the old Wlad had no answer for pressure, but to fall and panic, now he still panics, but the clinching helps him to get through the tough times in the ring, when he gets hurt or feels overwhelmed by his oppenent.
Right, against Williams... Peter used his other left arm. Not the same left arm that he used against Wlad. Both shots were set up basically the same way. Peter came sweeping across with all of his body weight and connected clean. Just because Wlad didn't melt, doesn't mean it wasn't as hard. Wlad was simply more aware than Williams was, although Wlad didn't see it coming either.
Yes but Foreman was able to hit his target. Peter couldnt hit the back of a club house with a 10 ton truck. Foreman also fought in Ali`s era and had a far greater career. Anyway comparison aside its hardly surprising that his hard to train. Peters mindset seems to resemble a voodoo doll. Most of what his says isnt even legible, he talks the talk but surely doesnt have the skills to match it and is simply just way to crude. I wouldnt even mind if he was an all out slugger but his punch technique is just simply horrible to watch. His only making noise because the division is so woefully inept. If this was back in the 90`s Peter wouldnt even be a fringe contender. I mean Peter vs Maskeav for the WBC title!? Are you kidding me? If that was 10 years ago you couldnt make that **** up.
McCline must have also used different arms against Peter, than he normally uses.:rofl This is fun, because I normally defend Peter on issues like this. However, this kind of **** is completely nonsense. If Peter is only able to land cleanly on someone who has there arms down, then he isn't a very good boxer. If he can only score knockdowns by landing directly on the chin, then he doesn't have very good power. If he can only land clean on 3 occasions in 12 rounds against Wlad, than Wlad is completely out of his league. I happen to believe that Peter has a lot of power. I also happen to believe that McCline has underrated power when he uses it. I think that Peter has a very solid chin. I don't hold it against Peter that he got dropped so easily against him. **** happens, it's boxing and people get hurt. Especially these big heavyweights throwing with that kind of power. Peter did land clean on Wlad, but Wlad was able to take it. He didn't land that often, because Wlad is a much better boxer.
How about Brewster's full power left hook. Landed clean, FLUSH, everything behind it, even leaped into it... Wlad's hands were down... and he still didn't drop from it. Let alone, THIS WAS THE SECOND FLUSH LEFT HOOK IN A ROW!! However, you have guys like Golota, Krasniqi ect... that folded like a cheap lawn chair when hit with the same punch. Yet, everyone wants to label Wlad with the glass jaw. Fighters with glass jaws don't stay on their feet after punches like that. This content is protected
