How has Fury not lost his WBC title yet? Who should fight for the belt?

    Defended it to Whyte last year, not fighting a single mandatory this year. Surely Chisora doesn't really count?

    What an absolute joke you can fight Chisora, Whyte and a shot MMA fighter and still keep your belt ffs.

    It should be Ruiz vs Wilder for the WBC title, then let Usyk fight the winner.

    Ruiz vs Wilder for me for the belt, which would be a good fight.

    But one thing that makes me worry about that is Wilder getting the WBC belt then just smacking bums again and ducking Usyk

    Yes, WBC need to mandate worthy opponents like Dubious

    Oh wait...

    ALL OF THE BELT BODIES ARE CORRUPT WORTHLESS CHUMPS. All as bad as each other.

    He defeated his mandatory last year. Usyk is not a mandatory for Fury, undisputed is a nice accomplishment, but it's not a necessity for any fighter. There is no WBC mandatory at heavyweight right now. Wilder and Ruiz were supposed to fight for the spot, but they never agreed to any terms for a match.

    The WBC should strip him first thing tomorrow morning and banish him from their rankings.

    The Dosser does not deserve a title shot he's 1-2 in his last 3 fights, both losses via brutal KO/stoppage in his backyard in what sans one round were one-sided massacres

    They still had him ranked #1 when he was 0-2 in his last 2 :facepalm:

    The correct thing to do here is to strip Belly and put their vacant strap on the line for Usyk vs Hrgovic so the fans can finally get to see a undisputed champion

    You can argue Hrgovic is undeserving too but, unlike Belly and The Dosser, he's not ducked or dodged anyone and he desperately wants to fight the best

    The Dosser wouldn't dare fight Belly in his backyard once even though Belly has fought him in his x 3

    He was too chicken to do once what the sport's biggest chicken who has made a complete mockery out of the sport, the WBC, and the countless fearsome and fearless warriors who came before him from the tiny majestic isle of Great Britain after his shameless GOAT ducks of Usyk, did x 3 so that makes him a super chicken too

    These are not real fighting men. Usyk and Hrgovic are and are desperate to fight the best, be it home or away.

    And in what universe is that okay? In what universe is it okay that the last time the WBC belt holder was ordered a mandatory was in December 2021, 21 months ago?

    The reputation of WBC is in tatters, they shouldn't be regarded as a recognised organisations any more.

    That's exactly what he'd do - no more cherry picking ghosts, stick to the standard never has beens, tease about unifying but run a mile from actually taking the fight.
