He keeps saying in almost every interview that he is fighting for the Pound for pound title?? :nut WTF? i mean at first i just thought he was confused or slow but its been a afew months and he is STILL saying that :huh...

Why hasnt anyone pulled him to the side and told him exsactly what Pound for pound means :blood?

He embarrasses himself IMO when he says that. I mean beating the P4P number 1 fighter does NOT make you the #1 P4P fighter:deal

Someone be a pal and shoot Hatton an email or somthing.

Hatton being named #1 P4P would make a complete mockery of an already pathetic, mythical ranking system that is so flawed it is not even funny.

Its called 'selling the fight'..... He wont look so stupid when he's sitting on those extra ££££ from the extra PPV sales he makes just from mentioning the whole p4p thing!!

anyway, who is to say that he doesn't become the p4p no.1??
I for one aren't too sure how the ranking is gonna work after this fight if he wins...

While I don't agree with Hatton's statments, he should move up if he wins just not to #1, he is entitled to his opinion. And, since he is the one that has to get in the ring and take the punches, I'd say he's even more entitled to his opinion than most. He could just as easily ask who the hell you think you are to tell him he isn't #1. Anyway, everyone seems to have their own PFP list nowadays so he could, technically, be considered PFP#1 somewhere.

He did actually say in an interview last week that to be considered number 1, he would have to beat Marquez after Pacquiao.

    Because Pac beat Mayweather?
I think the only purpose "pound-for-pound" serves is so that Jim Lampley finally has something to talk about, besides how so-and-so has "turned back time!!!11!"
