The english media (tabloids in particular) have a history of turning on sportsman/teams who don't perform

How has AJ been treated since his loss ?

    Fairly ? or unfairly ?

Some are being harsh and some are making excuses.

Most the mainstream media in the UK has been making excuses, and looking for conspiracy theories. None in the mainstream have simply come to the conclusion that AJ isnt as good as they thought he was, and Ruiz Jr is a lot better than they thought he was.

They all expect the rematch to be in the UK, and for AJ to get the knock out in a few rounds.

They'd be more likely to turn on someone who kept on winning than someone who is seen as a a 'pro' who loses to be honest.

The MSM have been relatively quiet really, although there was a great article in farmers weekly saying that silver spoon produces more BS than real bulls.
