nothing against him and i hope he does well but he is not a top 10 ranked fighter so how has he got a title shot? is it the klits cherrypicking opponents or is there just no one else out there with any credability?
Wlad 3 fights ago beat the man everyone wanted him to beat in Haye Wlad took a voluntary for a lot of money vs Mormeck who turned out to be a mismatch Thompson 2 was a mandatory and Wlad has not let his titles splinter, Thompson also had given Wlad a difficult first fight, not close to winning but he made a strategic imprint on the fight, the rematch proved much easier Wach i dont know his rank or how he got it but the better more qualified guys arent seeking the fight or taking it, Arreola is going for the WBC, Povetkin is content to fight for his regular strap and has turned down this fight before, some other guys like Puleev are just emerging not quite there yet, Haye seeks Vitali not sure if anyone wants to see it again, Adamek is fighting Cunningham i dont think many are intrigued....etc so on the best guys are either taking a different path, denying his challenges, or are already busy or just fought other guys like Solis and Helenius are coming off of layoffs and injurys Wlad doesnt have that many sellable must see opponents who draw excitement, not to say there arent good fighters but nobody is quite stepping up
Wach is #4 WBC, but is a voluntary for Wlad the only reason Wach took this fight is because 'worthy' contenders like Arreola, Povetkin, Price, Fury and so on, declined to fight the champion
he said yes..wlad has cleaned out the division and at this point in time their is a turn over of fighters going and coming up so wlad is just stay busy and at least this time its a young hungry up and comer and not thompson... im expecting a big 2013 for wlad tho with a few established names talking about stepping it up
