Here's some improvements I'd make: More focus on boxing and they should highlight Floyd's trouble with southpaws and really sell Ortiz as a tough opponent More trash talk from Floyd (running scene was a good start). But he needs to calm down with the corny ****. Just replace scenes like the money phone with a scene of him talking trash Ortiz needs to stop pointing to him being an orphan in every scene. Matter a fact, Ortiz should talk more crap also. We need to see more of Roger Mayweather and Miss Jackson :smoke Show more training footage and them preparing for the fight. And....... Floyd needs to show the signed contract and maybe the outfit again for Pacquiao :deal
We need to hear more about Ortiz's rough childhood. They are really neglecting that side of the story
get rid of the whole thing go back to countdown, 24/7 gets boring once you know there stories, imagine ortiz winning then fighting pac the 24/7 would not tell us anything we dont already know, no trashtalk nothing. countdown is better.
Showcase fights that do not have Mayweather or Pacquiao in them. It is not that neither is intresting but we have seen them both more than once before. However the show depends on how intresting the other guy is.
:deal The Countdown shows were great. I remember being oblivious to Pavlik/Taylor I until I saw the countdown. Thank God I saw it...Every 24/7 I've seen so far either had Mayweather or Pac in it. I've seen as much of Floyd's bodyguards and Manny's moochers as I can take.
Only one I can think of without either of them is Calzaghe - Jones I didn't find that interesting at-all. Jones had mellowed with age and Calzaghe was never going to be Muhammed Ali when it came to selling a fight.
More stuff like this. Some will say its cheesy as **** but **** them. This gets people pumped for big fights. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-GARsUnVAc&feature=player_detailpage"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-GARsUnVAc&feature=player_detailpage[/ame]
yep. forgot about those. i remember loving one rjj quote: "if i lose on the 8th, who cares?!" he follows it up by saying the pressure was on calzaghe, not him. but the first half of that monologue had me rolling. made me realize that jones is smarter than i ever gave him credit for.
One thing they can ELIMINATE ALTOGETHER is that BULL**** mittwork, It's been shown a thousand fkn' times already and his yaking hyenas whoop 'n holler like they're seeing it for the first time.
more training training is the only reason i tune in, i want to see the specific conditioning drills, the technical padwork etc etc
