On pure outfighting skills with a powerful delivery, Jalolov might be the best of the bunch. He's supported by legs of steel. If he gets a little tougher, watch out.

Agree with this all. His speed is also almost surreal for a HW, I’d say comparable with Wilder and Fury with both his hands and feet. My only reservations about him are that he gave up too much ground in his amateur career and that he while he’s shown a good chin he seemed to lose his composure easily on the seldom occasion he got tagged. We’ll see about the second issue, but from what’ve I seen he’s already largely ironed out the first. Joel Diaz is a great trainer for him.

Curious what you see in Bounty Jr.? I've only seen a couple of his fights beyond Usyk & Ustinov, but really nothing has wowed me, not sure why people are suddenly this keen on him. My 5'4" girlfriend probably could look phenomenal against the current version of Ustinov. :nusenuse:

Its because in 5 months he's accomplished more at HW than Wilder did in over 20 fights, same goes for the Whyte that fought AJ, and several other HW contenders. The way he destroyed Kiladze in his debut at HW was damn impressive, considering he took care of a healthy Kiladze quicker than Kownacki did, and the version Kownacki faced was suffering from the flu. Then after that he completely demolished the very heavy handed and pretty skilled Martin Bakole Ilunga, who is Junior Makabu's brother that many of us had high hopes for, including myself and @Serge, so throwing in Ustinov, who while yes, is a spent force, the same Ustinov arguably beat Charr last year, on the RBR, everyone on it except for Pinoy scored it for Ustinov, but it was in Germany and went the distance, so the inevitable happened. So for a guy who's claim to fame was making about 4 or 5 rounds of his match against Usyk competitive, to move up to HW and in the span of 5 months, absolutely manhandle and maul 3 much bigger men into submission, its got a lot of us pumped. Here check them out.

Trevor Bryan CURRENTLY HAS an insignificant belt - the WBA "Interim" Heavyweight Title.

Jarrell Miller called him out after the win over Dinu.

I should have said win and hang onto. He beat BJ Flores, if he defends it against another Decent/Fair opponent, instead of a shitty overrated CW then whoopee.

I've seen more of him than many of the others, I've been planning on making an Educate Yourselves thread on him, and eventually will. He was at the very top of that section, I came within a hair of moving up one, but I want to see a little more from him as a pro before I get my hopes up too much.

Agree, but he has to get tougher, and fight back when the other guy is throwing more often. Chin is good. He has improved already as a pro, likely thanks to Diaz.

LOL. Are you really wondering why people here are hyping Hunter (a tough, scrappy, albeit too-old-to-be-a-prospect) heavyweight, or are you just making conversation?

Here's a humble thought strictly from my admittedly mediocre cogntion: Might be for the same reason that I've read that Bredis is "one of the best fighters in boxing."

Joseph Goodall was a super heavyweight, don't think he ever fought Nyika.

Nyika beat Jason Whateley a few times

Hemi "The heat" Ahio probably deserves journeyman status but he can punch and can upset chinny guys. He is too fat the last time I seen him. Needs to be 220lbs not 240. He is only about 6ft

Junior Fa is talented. He should be a step higher on talent alone. Think he only loses to World Class operators and could be a decent contender if he finds some mongrel.

Willis Meehan has huge potential. If he Concentrates on boxing he will be a very good contender. The kid has all the tools and he is mongrel to boot. I wouldn't go toe to toe with him. He is still very young but I think he wipes out all of those "good level" guys tbh

Yeah well, Adonis Stevenson destroyed the guy that destroyed Badou Jack who he was lucky to get a draw against. And?

Here's my humble observation, you're running him down because he lost to Usyk. I've always liked Hunter, and even said he was moe skilled than Gassiev long before either of them fought Usyk, and said he'd beat Tabiti and was easily America's best Cruiserweight, for what its worth, I am being consistent. I said Usyk would beat Hunter, but I've also said Usyk would beay AJ and Wilder, so I didn't intend that as a slight to Michael.

Will be interesting as it seems he is more active now. He's a bit of a dark horse IMO ... but needs to raise his profile at some stage with a win over someone with some kind of name people know of.
