He's max out at 154 . . . irregardless how good and skilled a fighter is . . . they are always burdened by physical limitations.

The 160 guys are too big for him. :yep

i would hate to see floyd move up weight when there great fighters who he has not fought. i think mosley would actually beat floyd. cotto would give him a good fight with his relentless style and hatton would be interesting although i think floyd would handle him. floyd fought very few top notch fighters, the best being an slightly over the hill de la hoya (who gave him a close match). i just think there are a lot of quality fighters between 140 and 154 that would be great fights for floyd.

Wright beats him at 154 or 160. Winkys knows he is the bigger man and fights like it.

That sorry excuse for a fighter called Taylor shouldn't lose but if he somehow fights like he did against Spinks then he could. No point being naturally bigger and not using it.

You're right. There are at least 4 or 5 guys that would give him an excellent fight at 140 or 147.

But obviously he has no intention of fighting them.

Cory, Travis, and Ronald all beat him at 154, and he shouldn't even think about setting foot in a higher division.

yeah 160 is def too big.

i think Mosley and even Cotto from how he looked against Judah has a decent chance of beating Floyd Mayweather.

he needs to stay at 147 and try to clean up that division. im a big fan of his but if he sits back into retirement with those two out there then i say **** Floyd.

Cotto has a better chance against Floyd then Mosley does. Floyd has trouble with effective pressure. Cotto would give Mayweather big trouble. Paul WIlliams could be a tough fight for Mayweather also style wise. He would have to really fight on the front foot to get inside the long reach of Williams, which isn't something he usually likes doing. Otherwise this thread is ridiculous. Mayweather is too light to be really effective at 154. To even consider Toney at 240 is ludicrous. Like wise for Jermain Taylor. Taylor is a very big middleweight and would belt him all over the ring.

I don't think so and I think his maximum weight is 147.

Oscar fight was a great win, I'd give him that.

But I think the real question should be, how low can Floyd pull up a competition. Damn, he can wait a couple more years, maybe he can lure JuanMa into going up to welter. :deal
