he's taller than Hearns,and started at a higher weight,yet hearns went to cruiser(albeit ineffectually) this guy can go up the divisions without doubt. im not even convinced cruiser is ultimately beyond him.
Well when you consider that people like david haye weigh 230 pounds and fight's at cruiserweight, i doubt pavlik will make a good cruiserweight.
Pavlik can fight at 168 and 175 for sure. I'm not sure if his power would work as well at 200. It would be in Pavlik's best interest to make an easy title defense at 160 on HBO, then fight the winner of Clazaghe vs Kessler at 168. If Pavlik fights the winner of Clazaghe vs Kessler, the winner could be boxing's #1 pound for pound fighter.
A light heavyweight if i ever saw one.. Natural Lt heavy in his latter years.. A solid banging 175 pounder ..... Like a Lalonde type.. only a lot more versatile..
