How high do you currently rate Pacs chances of beating Oscar?

When Oscar beats Pac, it sure as hell isn't going to be because of any supposed weight advantage. Roach himself said that Pac has to cut down to make 147. Hell, he entered into the ring at 147 for his fight at 135. In reality... Pac is actually fighting someone his own size. Oscar is taller... but Oscar isn't going to have a weight advantage. At most, it would only be a few pounds, nothing major.

I do it with Margarito fans, I did it with Cotto fans, and now it is Pac's turn. I defend Cal until they start talking like he is better than Floyd. When they say Cal was better than Hop and Jones in their prime, I exlax on those Cal fans too. It's those fanatical fans. They really irk me lol...

I would say zero, but they is a chance that Oscar could "catch a heart attack" in the word of my grandmother and take the 10 count. But outside of that Pac chance of winning is less then 0.

I never quite understood why fans are so fanatical with a certain fighter and when they take things so seriously or personally, and have to always try to defend them no matter how ridiculous the argument is.

Everyone has their favorites, but I'm a bigger fan of the sport than of particular fighters, and usually root for winners based on the potential matchup it'll create in the future. I'll criticize the fighters when they deserve it and won't exaggerate the significance of a win.

A lot of fans on message boards will say almost anything to defend their favorite fighters and seem to personally get offended. What is that all about? What did the fighter do for you, other than provide you entertainment, to deserve this idol worship? These aren't 12 year old kids looking up to an athlete, which I can understand, but these are grown men doing it.

    I don't understand it.

Oscar has more of a traditional boxer puncher style. Very different from a fighting style like Roy Jones, which is based more on reflexes and speed than anything else.

Oscar has certainly declined, but not as much physically as he has mentally. His mind is on many things other than boxing, it shows on his body when he comes into the ring, he isn't as commited a fighter as he once was. Sure he has lost some speed, but more normal for his age and not as drastic as Roy Jones considering his style.

Oscar has a left hook from hell being a natural southpaw. He has a good size advantage, and a great jab still. Only question is his wind.

PBF will spoil that as he won't entertain the possibility of Hatton losing to Manny. He will challenge Pac immediately if Pac wins. He is reserving Hatton for his last chance of the biggest paycheck at Wembly...

I was going to vote 0/zilch but I voted below 10% because anything can happen in boxing, its been proven too many times.

That's just how I see it man. Everytime I imagine how the fight would go, thinking of possible ways for Pac to win, it almost always ends the same way. DLH KO Pac via Left Hook.

Still, I did give him a chance, right? Albeit a low one but its still a chance. That below 10% chance is based on Pac surviving the first 5 rounds(working the body) and DLH getting tired on the mid rounds(as he usually does), then Pac taking advantage of that and taking the later rounds enroute to an SD win or something.

I'll be so happy when that happens!!! But there's very little chance of that happening IMO.

I dont quite understand what you're saying.

Do you mean that Manny has never been hurt before?

OK, let's take away those two "famous" KO losses at 112 pounds (Torrecampo [PHI] and Singsurat [THA] where he lost because he was "weight drained" and was too weak to fight at full strength.

He has been hurt lots of times before, even by smaller men.
He recovered fast enough though, and his opponents just could not go all out at him because they were still defensive minded and didnt wanna risk getting nailed by a lucky haymaker.
