How high do you currently rate Pacs chances of beating Oscar?

    Yeah, that's true.

But I think it's just a phase a fan goes through. Sooner or later, it'll all level out.

But we Filipinos do take sport very seriously. basketball's the number 1 sport in the country, and sometimes it gets so heated that fights break out. Among the players. and also the fans. Really passionate fans, a bit like those soccer fans, sometimes.

There was a short, quick jab (or was it a hook?) around the later part of the fight that caught Pac by surprise, it stopped him on his tracks and kinda took a step back. Shook him for a bit. It wasnt even a full power punch. He was clearly winning the fight though.

I remember that because I laughed out loud (slightly nervous laughter) because I saw that Diaz still had a chance to turn the fight around.

All Diaz needed was one big, solid connection, and he turns the tables around.

Watching Pac fight always feels like a sudden death playoff, in my experience. Even if he's dominated 11 and 3/4ths of the rounds, one big punch ends it all for him.

Makes me sick, watching his fights. :D

but he didnt throw or land it.

if anything, pac was irritated by diaz' short hooks to the head while they were tied up but neva-eva eva-eva eva-eva was pac hurt.

and yes, pac = livewire :thumbsup

Yeah, but that's the difference between a regular boxing fan watching a good PPV, and a fan who's a supporter of the boxer that's currently fighting.

You feel that any moment in the fight, he's gonna get careless, and he'll get hit by a big powershot and he'll get KTFO.

Casual Pac fans might see a hard, thudding hook to the face as a nothing kind of a shot that any decent boxer can shake off,

but a longtime fan of his may see it as the beginning of the end. It starts with that punch, (then probably there's another one, where he'll get hurt, and his opponent fires off nasty combos and he goes down)

(Like the Oscar Larios one. I thought that Pac would get KO'd that time)

    that kind of thing. :D

I know that you know the feeling. When watching your favorite team try to hang on to a slim lead with the game nearly over.

nah. oscar will come in at about 160 come fightime while pac will weigh about 150 during the fight. that's a 10 pound difference in fighting weight. that certainly isn't just a "few" pounds, is it?

Fifteen percent chance of Pac winning. If the odds reflected that or close to it, I would bet on it. I think he has a legit chance of he overcomes some immense hurdles, its just those hurdles are awfully immense.

If he can just simply be in the fight and not hurt by say the middle of round 6, there is a chance he can take the thing over with a body attack.

But you just look at that DLH left hook and you realize that Pac isn't Floyd Mayweather and can't fight that way, and so much smaller naturally, it just seems to me that at any time that DLH gets into trouble he can turn things around with his physicality in a way that he could never do vs a boxing genius like Floyd Mayweather.

In any event, I will be rooting for Pac just like all the modern Mexican boxing champions.

Oscar didn't even come in at 160 on fight night when he fought at 154. He generally weighed in at 158, which is exactly what he weighed on fight night that last time that he did an unofficial weigh in on fight night. That was when he fought against Mosley in the second fight. Oscar's size is completely exaggerated. He was ALWAYS a small Jr. Middleweight who really didn't even belong in that weight class. In order for Oscar to have trained hard enough to compete at his best, he needs to be a Welterweight. It was too easy for Oscar to fight at 154. I can remember them having to stop training for a few days during some of his training camps because he was getting too light.

Yes you can. Go watch some footage of PBF fighting either your boyfriend Oscar, or RIP Corrales, and watch a fighter who knows how to hide that chin. You are about as smart as a bag of sand. :good

Thread, I couldn't have said it better myself. There is no fighter on earth above criticism. They got so used to dissing Cal and Floyd so much that they thought that fighters such as...I'll say Pac, Cotto and Margarito...who supposedly do not talk smack or slap with their punches...were above criticism. They start using ALTS, calling you any type of name they can think of as if that will change anything lol. No fighter is bullet proof. Wins and losses, I can deal with. Calling a fighter a coward or belittling resume's with a ridiculous analysis is about all I can stand. I've talked to boxers. The biggest thing that irks them is when a fan calls them a coward.

Oh, I get it lol...you are on PST lol...I know, I get that from posters who post that late, and have no life lol...Now, as far as your answer to hiding your chin...you are just dying to crack on Dlh, and get back at me...And your post makes no sense at all...and then you post that I'm lol...smart as a bag of sand lol. I think you've been on the internet too long. You need time away from this forum Dave lol.
