You came with some very good evidence, and then you overrated some of your evidence lol. Anyway, Pac won those fights. You can't hide being hurt in a fight. You can try, but fighters know when you are hurt. Being knocked down in a fight is one thing, being ko'd is another. Pac can't hide his chin behind his speed and power. Pac has been hit hard in his early and late fights, and showed a tremendous chin along with quick recuperative powers.

I'll be in and outta here. Just dropped by.

You saw him getting dropped by a simple, almost jabbing left hook by a 122 lbs Hussein, getting rocked by a Larios left hook (naturally a 122 pounder, fought at 130 that night)

Now, imagine Pac getting hit by a patented ODLH left hook, a 160 lbs Oscar. A hook that has dropped bigger, tougher, more seasoned welterweights.

C'mon now. If I wasnt a fan, I'd give Pac a 0 to 15 percent chance to win this December.

I just gave him 25-35% simply because I'm rooting for him and I want him to win.

i think the fight is a fake.i see pac coming in and trying to exchange with odh.is not like pac will fight like mayweather, if he gets hit he likes to hit back and just because he will try to stop odh is why odh will stop him.but if pac wins its great for him and his career, better then whne pbf did it because of the size.if odh wins, im thinking so what you were fighting a midget damn near.

pac win or lose is ok
odh win or lose is bad.

    You make a fair point.

But as far as the chances of Pac's win are concerned, even if one isn't rooting for Pac (I, for instance, am not rooting for anyone in this fight), a "zero" or 5% or even 10% is too low imo, it's an exaggeration.

Pac is in his prime, he's got the muscle, he's got the stamina, and he will be much faster than Oscar, no question. The question for me is can he carry his power and be effective @ 147? Even if Pac isn't that effective in terms of power (I suspect he won't be), one should give him at least 25-30% of a chance to win this.

at first I thought it was zero but hypes coming from both camps is making me change my mind so I say less than 10%.

His only chance is if DLH is dead at the weight, which is far from impossible. I'd say about 25%

I can't imagine anything in boxing. You can post video after video of PAc being flattened, but as long as he is getting up before 10, and winning by ko...you have no point. He took the big 3's best shots and never waivered. If he can't take Dlh's shots it's because Dlh was too big that's all.

Good post. Pac is pfp the best, and is given no chance to beat a 35 year old Dlh by some or very little chance? Good post:good

Yeah, 0-15% is not a logical option imo. Pacquiao has a decent shot to win this fight, although I think Oscar is the clear favourite, I think 30% of a chance is fine for Manny.

And if someone talks me into it I might give him 50%. :deal

Joking on that last one! But I think 30% is a fair percentage. Pacquiao is an excellent fighter.

In other words, you have bought into the hype. That's what HBO, GBP, and Top Rank is banking on up until December 6.

Do you mean you have never tried predicting an outcome of an upcoming fight? Isnt that called imagining? You take into account each fighter's strong points and weak points, and then you imagine what is likely to happen in the fight, in your opinion.

But a lot of those guys prime KO wins were mostly at 122. (except for JMM, 126)

It's a whole different league, receiviing punches from a powerhitting featherweight, and receiving punches from a powerhitting welterweight.

I agree. That's what I think. ODLH is just too big, too experienced at the higher weight, a more natural 147 lbs fighter and has better punch resistance against hits from bigger fighters. The guy has never been KO'd via a punch to the head. Tough nut to crack.

    Do you watch basketball?

I think this match is kinda like an NCAA 2008 champion team playing against a professional NBA team, like the San Antonio Spurs, in a 7 game series. NBA rules. (much farther 3 point line, more physical play, bigger court, longer game)

The NCAA team is excellent. They have beaten some of the best teams in the country. Some by blowouts, some just by the slimmest of margins. They are very good.

And they're about to face the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. 4 time champions ('99, '03, '05 and '07) one of the most experienced teams in the league.

But with experience, theyre also one of the oldest teams. And through the years, many of their key players have left. 2 out of 3 of its star players are out due to injury, and they are struggling this NBA season.

They may be former champs, they may not be as good as they were a couple of years ago, but they're still the Spurs. Compared to the NCAA champs, they are more experienced, more rugged, bigger, more accustomed to playing NBA rules.

And the college team didnt have the chance of having a few practice games and scrimmages against good NBA teams. They only got to practice against fellow college guys, or only an NBA development league team.

In a seven game series, IMO, the NCAA would be lucky to win one or two games. Winning the series isnt impossible, but not very probable.

That's what the Pac-ODLH fight looks to me, IMHO.

I wish Pac would win. Or at least break Oscar's pretty face.
