I think in a trilogy, he'd beat any heavyweight who ever lived at least once. The only fighter I see beating him in three fights is Ali.

easily a lock for top five, by anyone in the world, and top two by me. The complete HW boxer, power, stamina, chin, experience, great wins, canyon wide skillset with depth and refinement,

True.. But Louis's power came from speed, accuracy and the ability to land bunches of ferocious combinations at once.. When these abilities were gone at roughly the age of 34, his power diminished along with it, while men like Foreman, Shavers, Tyson and Lewis carried their power into old age.

I think Louis beat them all, he would have the most trouble with Ali, Marciano and Dempsey. The big guys he would walk through, Tyson could be early trouble but JL did everything better....Brown Bomber had it all, the most complete perfect fighter and the best combination puncher of all times...textbook

Always look at head to head comparisons of fighters at their best. Old Louis had power. He just lost speed and timing...,,it became hard for him to pull the trigger.

Louis abilities in the ring are absolutely unmatched to this very day at hwt. I do not believe we will ever see a hwt that well skilled again.

Like Holyfield did but quicker and clean KO, Tyson never had to deal with a J Louis type of ****nal.

Yes because evander faced 1988 tyson .because Luis had the chin And style of evander And Louis had the strength of a roided evander to handle tyson in the clinch And louis had the footwork of evander too lol

Luis weighed 200 pounds? Uh? Evander 215 And 218 vs tyson? (You will see that somebody will use the 207 pounds heaviest versión of prime Luis lol)

I don't think Tyson could hold up to Louis' power. Louis made a super heavyweight do a full 360 with one punch.

Tyson never fought someone with that kind of power. I can't imagine he stands up to Louis' punches. And he's not dynamic enough to make adjustments if he gets hit.

Louis prime weight was 202 and that weight was directly stated by Louis himself. Of course it's only the MMA types that place such an importance of weight in the heavyweight division.
