How high do you rate Andre S.O.G Ward

One of the best I have ever seen beat multiple elite fighters in their prime. A mentally tough fighter with the mindset of a champion.

 

Reminds me of that quote from the Russian gangster in the John Wick movie.
"Ward wasn't exactly the boogieman, he was the one you sent to kill the boogieman"

Say what you like doesn't alter the fact Ward is a hypocritical cheating obnoxious POS

 

I give him props for having a great ring IQ, chin, was very tough mentally and had a very good understanding of boxing fundamentals and good jab and footwork. But I think he's very overrated. He was sloppy, used a lot of dirty tactics, his technical skills were not that good, beside his jab and footwork. His competition from super 6 were far from amazing boxers, while his fans making it look like he went trough the murderers row. He was also allowed to foul them a lot, without ever being punished for it.

There should be an asterisk next to some of Ward's notable wins to reference the underhandedness he practiced.

 

Boring home fighter with a lack of personality or appeal to fans but loads of talent.

 

I have suffered from insomnia for 25 years. Modern medicine had no cure. Then I watched him.

 

That guy had to cheese his way to a win at all measures, headbuts, excessive holding, slapping, low blows, gift decisions, you name it and Andre has done it.
