I’ve got SOG in the top 25.

Amazing skills, Retired undefeated, gave out whoopings to all comers like Froch and Kovalev

    top 25???

Oscar isn't even that high, and he'd done a ton more kiddo.... Hell, his resume at 168 isn't even that great.

top 25?? idk man that seems a bit high. It depends on your criteria tho. Here's 25 boxers I'd rank higher than Ward. This list is not in order.

    Greb
    Langford
    Robinson
    Armstrong
    Charles
    Ali
    Gans
    Benny Leonard
    Fitzsimmons
    Moore
    Ross
    Walker
    Ray Leonard
    Pep
    McLarnin
    Mcgovern
    McFarland
    Canzoneri
    Burley
    Pacquiao
    Mayweather
    Hagler
    Monzon
    Griffith
    Jones Jr

Again not in order but here's 25 boxers I'd rate over Ward off the top of my head. Also it's kinda funny how I subconsciously listed the three "Mc's" all in a row. The human brain is a funny thing.

Julio Cesar Chavez has more championship fights than Wards entire career. And Ward is an American fighter. 32 fights is pretty tragic.

He is overrated but was a good boxer. His nickname also sucks. Very American

He’s not top 100, 150 would be a stretch. Although he’s an Olympic gold medalist who retired undefeated, His two biggest wins have been extremely controversial. Then there’s the fact that he retired at a young age in a smoking hot 175 pound division and it leaves a lot of question marks. I’d say his legacy at 168 is solidified but 175 left a lot to be desired.

No Duran? ... I am deeply wounded. I guess he was toward the middle of your head. :)

Hey I never claimed this was my top 25. Just 25 boxers that I would rank over Ward. Obviously Duran would be in my real top 25.

10 more: Louis, Barrera, John, Morales, Usyk, Inoue, Crawford, Hearns, Duran, Canelo. Top 25 is crazy for Ward.

Kovalev whipped that ass and then got a ref to allow him to smash his balls. He headbutted his way to a win over Kessler. A prime example of career marketing manipulation. Would have been destroyed by Beterbiev had they fought.

I mean obviously it's more than 25. You've also got Conn, Spinks, Jofre, Harada, Arguello, Hopkins, Napoles, Ike Williams, Holman Williams, and Saldivar to name 10 more. We could turn this into a pissing contest where we continue to name boxers until we officially run out of picks that make sense but I'd prefer not to. 25 was enough to put doubt on the original claim.

ROFL He never legitimately beat Kovalev.. Sergey beat the SOB first fight & a tag team of Ward & Weekes
worked to hatter Kov's testes trying to neuter him by the look of it. Plus Kesslers face looked like Sweeney Todd the Demon barber had slashed his face with a razor with a not stop barrage of head butts
