How high would you rank Mayweather - Pacquaio in 'Greatest Performances of All Time'?

I did not see that Pacquiao got outclassed by Floyd. what fight were you watching? Floyd made made the most number of hug in the fight with pacquiao and fought the most cautious fight of his career.

 

The story,according to all reports Ive seen was Manny was injured & notified the USADA & NSAC as such , but was prepared to go ahead with the fight as long as he could have a pain killing shot of Toradol pre fight. Toradol is a permitted pain killer BTW. This was agree upon. Then fight night as they were about to administer the Toradol the NSAC rep refused him saying he had not requested a TUE for it Thus he was sabotaged. & was forced to fight in pain which increased as the "fight" progressed. As for Pac healing himself swimming ? ROFL Ive seen the interview the surgeon,who repaired the tear in Pac's rotator cuff & he explained it in detail. He said Pac must have been in severe pain in the fight. In actual fact Floyd claimed he had the same injury during the fight with Castillo, an excuse because he knew he'd been beaten, when did he get surgery??
He didnt I guess the consoling & caressing he always received from Ellerbe cured him ROFL
Now for the worse part We all know how Floyd got caught red handed receiving an ILLEGAL, EXCESSIVE 750 ml of saline in his own home, which incidentaly broke THREE of NSAC 's own rules regarding Saline 24 hours before the fight The NSAC claimed to know nothing of this until after the fight when Thomas Hauser reported it. All they did was issue a statement " Mr Mayweather did nothing wrong we will not be investigating" ROFL. How did they know that if they never investigated it ?????? Then they had the gall to issue Floyd a retroactive TUE for the saline THREE WEEKS AFTER he got caught receiving it. Floyd obviously never requested a TUE did he?? Why is there a difference in the way the NSAC handled this affair.??? Pac was refused a legal shot of toradol because he hadnt requested it Yet Floyd gets caught receiving a 750 ml Saline drip in his own home, which broke at least THREE of the NSAC's own rules regarding Saline & they say he did nothing wrong & issued him a retroactive TUE for it yet offered no reason why he needed it . My brother in law is an emergeancy room doctor dealing with people suffering dehydration all the time When I told him of this he wouldnt believe it he said if Floyd was dehydrated that bad he'd have been in ICU while they fought to save his kidneys & not fighting for a world title Bottom line is One rule for the cash cow & one for everyone else

I notice you do not try to offer any excuses for Floyd. I'm not surprised you cannot he was caught red handed but the NSAC TRIED to cover his ass. The difference in treatment of both fighters was blatant. EVERYONE knows why Floyd was receiving those saline drips illegally. Fight should have been changed to a N/C & Floyd brought to justice & BANNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

As injury excuses, I have to say Pac's looks pretty legit. Can't believe they messed it up so bad in such a big fight.

 

Great post. When all this came out I felt if it was the other way around the result would have been changed. Only a Floyd fanboy would try to say that it’s not suspicious and there are plenty who are so blind with their love they can’t acknowledge it’s fishy.

Floyd is every bit as suspect as any other modern fighter accused of PED’s. He just had the pull to also make sure the opponent was clean for sure and also gained extra advantages. He and Canelo are cut from the same cloth in that regard and part of why I tend to look at their “accomplishments” with a bit of an *.

If pacquiao was this honorable warrior he would have pulled out of the fight instead of giving a half added effort. He wanted the money, plain and simple. And he figured if he had a built in excuse then he'd get sympathy for a rematch. It back fired and people were disgusted by his lame excuses (he made several but you will gloss over them) and felt robbed. That's why no one except losers like you stuck in 2015 is buying his BS. Awful fight and awful performance from both guys. If that was the best the sport had to offer its a sad state of affairs.

 

He was loaded up on Celestone for the fight, which allowed him to complete camp and put off surgery. It also happens to be a WADA banned PED.

 

Manny won the fight. Floyd the bigger man (5"8 and 72 reach while Manny 5"5 and 67 is smaller than most light weight) still cheated the injured midget Manny and fought the most cautious fight of his entire boxing career.
Fo manny boxing fans Floyd lost the fight ad he did not do enough to win the fight. He made the fight like a comedy somewhat like a track and field for 12 rounds. Only an ignorant will say the he outclassed Manny

 

It could have been the best performance if Floyd really outclassed Pacquiao some fanboys are often saying. The fight was so closed. Floyd did not do enough that you may say he outclassed pacquiao. Pacquiao got outclased only on the judges score card.

 

Look get this straight... I never ever said Manny won that fight. He never had a chance he was sabotaged forced to fight in pain while Floyd was obviously juiced to the gills running dancing & hugging like a ballerina just BARELY beating Manny. But as we all know the Vegas judges made sure Floyd won I scored the fright 115-113 to floyd & he barely deserved that.
Now lets see your explanation of the events involved in the "fight". Explain the NSAC,s blatant covering of Floyds cowardly ass. Actually all they did was just further prove how corrupt Vegas is yet people like you STILL adore Floyd yet still claiming to be boxing fans
