Shavers was 35 , not even a year after almost decapitating Holmes when he fought Cobb. He landed bomb after bomb. Cobb took it. The same Shavers would go on to flatten Merrit, fracture Bugners bones and almost break Tillis' neck. Your point on Earnie simply does not hold. Lewis was the same 35 when he fought Tua and 38 when he fought Vitali but that is fine I guess according to your logic of delusion. Tyson went 34 rounds against the men I mentioned and never dropped any of them besides landing his best. Case wrong on Tyson. When Joe Louis was 35 he had no punch left as his record showed .. so yu rate the Mercer who fought Lewis with the Chuvalo who fought Foreman .. LOL.
