How highly would a win for Froch over Taylor be viewed?

    If Froch was to win this fight then he's free to shout his mouth off all he likes as he will have proven himself.

    Taylor's level of opposition has been that much higher then Froch's which is why I think Taylor wins by UD.

    im convicned he will win. froch is a beast. he will be a big name if he wins.

    It would be a fantastic victory and to deny him credit for it would be pure folly.

    He won't win though.

    This shows you who has the clout and who doesn't . Froch is a placeholder. Nothing more. You will see soon enough.

    imo about as good as a win over Andrade.

    In fact i would pick Andrade over Taylor.

    Taylor is a blown up middle who isn't the same anymore, after the Hopkins and Pavlik fights, IMHO.

    It would be a very good win but i cant see him pulling it off.Taylor will be too much for Froch.

    First off, it would garner him enormous respect from American fight fans. It should move to #2-4 in the SMW rankings around Bute and Andrade.

    I dont even wanna think about this. The thought of ppl condering Froch top 10 p4p would kill my desire for boxing.

    It's a good win against a name opponent but I expect Froch to win anyway so it would be no surprise to me

    I am already a fan of his fighting style...come-forward, aggressive, give-it-all-you've-got, not-a-step-backwards...

    Never had a problem with Froch in the ring...he doesn't cheat either, for example.

    But I'm not a fan.

    He's not good enough a boxer for me to get excited about, more than any other B-/B level fighter...

    ...and there's the outside-the-ring-stuff...you know my views on that.

    BUT...if he beats Taylor (!!!) and then does everything possible to get into the same ring as Kessler (or Bute, why not), then I shall respect him for really wanting to fight the best, not just playing the risk/reward game and running his mouth....and...yeah, I'd be becoming a bit of a fan...just about.:nut:oops:
