How i scored all of Katie Taylor's close fights

I feel like Taylor gets alot of unnecessary hate on this forum with alot people claiming she gets gift decisions in all his fights it's absolute rubbish.

Apart from the 3rd Serrano fight Taylor is always in exciting FOTY candidates she's done alot for women's boxing and i'm tired of this false narrative that all of Taylor's opponent's get robbed against her.

2 minute rounds in a 10 round fight of competitive fights it's always going to be nip and tuck with a few stand out moments being the difference. But Taylor seems to have the knack of winning vital rounds when she needs it and has the superior ring generalship, cleaner punching, flashier work, which gives her the edge in her close fights and catches the eyes of the judges.

The Serrano trilogy gets way overblown for how controversial it is.

The 1st fight was a clear Taylor win yes Serrano hurt Taylor in the middle rounds and won her rounds more convincingly. But Taylor swept the final 3 rounds to win a close but clear decision i'm baffled how anyone can see a Serrano victory.

The 2nd fight was more debatable and could've gone either way so i won't debate too much in regards to this fight.

The 3rd fight was a comprehensive victory for Taylor in a boring tactical fight not even debatable.

As for the Cameron fights.....

Cameron clearly legitimately won the 1st fight no question.

The 2nd fight i felt Taylor clearly edged it despite the referee maybe missing a knockdown call in the 1st round. But Taylor built up too much of an early lead and Cameron left it too late i really don't see the controversy here.

The Persoon fights are close and debatable it's basically quantity vs quality and it's down to what you prefer but i would like to point out a few things.

The 1st Persoon fight is one of the most legit draws i've ever seen for me there was no debatable rounds in the fight. Taylor built up an early lead but faded down the stretch it was close but i felt a draw would've been the best result.

The 2nd Persoon fight was actually opposite it was Taylor who needed to rally late on which she did winning the last 2 rounds giving her the edge in the fight. Persoon was throwing more but was landing very little and Taylor's cleaner more effective punches were the difference.

Finally the Jonas fight good competitive fight but a clear win for Taylor no debate there.

Deranged scoring ? You had 99-91 scorecard vs Taylor/Serrano so don't talk to me about "deranged scoring".

 

In your opinion average boxrec fan scorecards had Taylor winning 96-94 so I would say a negative on that.

 

Chris I like you but i don't normally agree with your scorecards but that's fine we all see things differently.

The point of the thread wasn't to glaze over Taylor it's more to show that these fights wasn't robberies. I realize not everyone will agree with every one of my scorecards but people make out every fight of Taylor's is a robbery and I don't agree with that narrative.
