I decided to make some predictions. Why not every one else seemes to do it so why not me. Jermain Taylor vs. Kelly Pavlik. Taylor 8 rounds to 4. Taylor has not been exciting lately but he has more big fight experince. He also has a lot to prove comeing off his last fight. Pavlik has a great future but I think Taylor is going to win. Manny Pacquiao vs. Marco Antonio Barrera. Barrera is my avatar so Fell free to acuese me of being a Barrera "nuthuger" or "fanboy". I hold the opinion that Barrera is going to have to go toe to toe with Pacquiao in the early parts of the fight to slow him down. And in the lateer rounds mix up "boxing" and "brawling" styles to keep Pacquiao off balance. Result Barrera pulls off one more great win. 7-4-1. Joe Calzaghe vs. Mikkel Kessler. I think they are pretty evenly matched with Calzaghe having a slight edge. Calzaghe also has more big fight experance. with wins over Lacy and Eubank. The experience and hometown crowd should help Calzahe to a victory 7-5. Miguel Cotto vs. Sugar Shane Mosley. One way or another I think this is going to be a blow-out. Eather Cotto is going to be too strong and land one of his left hooks to Mosley's body ending things early or Mosley will out box Cotto. I think Mosley will out box Cotto. 9-3. Floyd Mayweather vs. Ricky Hatton. Hatton has come up big in his bigest fights. Stoping Tszyu in 11 rounds and stoping Castillo in 4 rounds. Mayweather is his bigest fight yet. If history is an indactor we will have a new pound 4 pound king. Mayweather is not Tszyu and Castillio. Hatton will have his moments but in the end I think Mayweather is going to be too fast. It will be close. Mayweather 7-5 Those are my predictions.
too shy to say it probably because of your avatar:hey kidding! i pretty much have the same predictions. 4-5:good but im hoping hatton wins, i'm really just curious on how PBF will take it. As for Hatton's future..i think there's a lot of fighters in that division who could beat him. :bbb
You're not wrong till the fat lady sings. Anything can happen on a given night, but Pacman will probably retire MAB.
I disagree with you on Cotto vs Mosley. I agree that it's a toss up but I just can't imagine a blow out either way. Mosley has been in with every type of fighter you can imagine no way Miguel overwhelms him. Also I think that Floyd vs Hatton will be a lot more lopsided than you do. People underestimate just how little floyd gives a **** if people enjoy the fight. He will be very content to avoid all contact and never let Ricky get into the fight.
I think Mayweather's not careing what people think is very likely to be his undoing. Maby not against Hatton, but Hatton is going to have a lot of suportors at the fight who are going to be very vocal in their suport of him. Judges are only human and thats going to influence them. Hattons hit and hold style is going to make Mayweather work harder for a win than he has sense he fought Castillo.
