How I see Canelo Angulo playing out

    First, I think its a 50-50 fight. Canelo is supposed to destroy him but I think he won't

    I believe Canelo will look sharp and move well (and often) for the first 6 rounds. I'd be pretty surprised if Canelo loses many of the first 6. I don't think he'll be able to bank enough body shots before he starts to tire out and I think Angulo starts walking him down in the 7th. I see Angulo stopping him late. Maybe Canelos game plan is to attack the eye and perhaps its gimpy like Margaritos was.

    That is the way I see it. If Canelo wins I give him credit but I think he loses. IMO it isn't the mismatch most are predicting. I bet the ring is going to be a hell of a lot bigger than Lara got.

    Canelos stamina is a questionable issue.

    Good prediction. But why u think Angulo gonna get to him late. What's gonna change?

    Alvarez has no stamina whatsoever, if Angulo has a brain he'll jump on him and not stop when Alvarez does his infamous 2 round breather.

    Has Canelo ever 'destroyed' anyone? :think

    He is very overrated and this is going to tank on PPV.

    I think Angulo goes right after him and it's going to be a war for as long as it lasts. This fight is not going the distance. Somebody is getting stopped. I don't agree at all that Angulo will only start getting to him in the 2nd half of the fight. Canelo is known for only fighting for parts of each and every round and that is the perfect opportunity for Angulo to jump on him.

    I just think Canelo will get tired around the 7th..possibly get dropped and maybe go out on his shield in the 10th...ref stoppage maybe? Canelos speed should make Angulo look bad at first but Canelo is unlikely to throw too many bodyshots in the first half. Even though Canelo isfaster it is dumb to trade a body shot for a head shot with Angulo. When Canelo starts to tire, Virgil tells him to work the body first (my reason fora late stop)

    Of course Canelo could come out and blast him too and I look a fool. I'm looking forward to the fight though

    Exactly . You've got it spot on. Except I think Canelo can control the pace and get a UD .

    It's possible. Maybe my view is distorted because of how flaccid Canelo came out against Floyd and Im letting that affect me too much.

    boys come on..
    prime angulo got boxed to pieces by a totally shot kermit cintron.

    dont make anything of the Lara fight. Lara blows. Got beat by molina, vanes, williams, and was getting spanked by angulo. Dont grasp at straws there.

    Canelo will look fantastic in stopping angulo...he's not a weight drained 152lb zombie we saw i may.


    Use your heads for f-ucksake.

    So molina was robbed too who cares...in fact vanes was robbed worse, he was boxing that ass up and lara bitched outta the fight with headbutts. He a decent win against Trout. A stinker ...where austin f'ing trout was forced to be the aggressor.

    people hailing angulo for slapping him around are delusional.

    Angulo is straight caveman status.

    A "shot" Cintron who only lost to prime Margarito and prime Sergio ( I had Sergio winni g that fight). Before frog jumping out of the ring against PWill, Cintron was a decent fighter.

    He got pounded out by sergio and margarito...sergio TKO'd him AND UD'd him in the same fight!!

    Kermit was good at WW. I liked him a lot. After two KO losses and competing at 154 (where he never looked good) he still embarrassed angulo.

    Same angulo who came back older (and was brutally stopped by kirkland) and trounced lara.
