How important is adaptabilty for a boxer?

    I'd say its pretty important, if things arent going your way regroup and come up with another plan. Ive seen Calzaghe do it against Hopkins this year and very effectively, other fights ive seen this year most recently last nights Cotto had one game plan and when things started going against him nothing changed.

    its a gr8 trait to have...it can make you damn near unbeatable. Look at Floyd. Its his ability to adapt to whats going on in the ring that gets him thru fights most of the time. He can easily adjust his gameplan mid-fight.
