I was wondering what's gonna happen if GGG gets a more dominant victory over Canelo Alvares compared to what Floyd could do.

Floyd had a majority decision victory over a 23 year old Canelo.
What people are going to say if GGG knocks out a prime time 27 year old Canelo Alvares ?

Can Canelo be used as a tool of comparing GGG with Floyd ?

GGG is bigger, so no. Floyd does want Canelo to win but it doesn't hurt him a lot if Canelo loses.

So what if he is bigger, that doesn't mean anything, GGG can drop in weight.
Floyd has several times fought smaller guys, Canelo is a bit smaller than Floyd and he will fight GGG.
If Floyd was in his prime, he would have to face GGG at some point.
Floyd has several times mentioned he would destroy GGG on several interviews, how can people deny the connection between GGG and Mayweather

My mistake I wanted to say Canelo is just a bit bigger than Floyd but again what this has to do with anything ?
So basically nobody believes that Floyd would have fought GGG if he was in prime time ?

They might've fought but not at 160lb, where GGG is too big.

NO. The second Floyd made GGG come down in weight it would've been looked at with an *.

GGG destroys Mayweather or McGregor. Mayweather would not get in the ring with GGG, he cant hurt him and counting on GGG to gas will not work like it did McGregor.

I think only thing he really cared about was to have his fight before Golovkin vs Canelo, now that it's over he could not care less about that fights existence or who wins but should it be Canelo he'll probably use that to his advantage.
