What is more important in boxing, speed or strength? Are they equally important or not as important as fans might think?

Strength with timing, skill and technique trump speed!!! Look at khan. All you have to do is time that chin!

strength only matters if you can get inclose enough to employ it.

mind you once a fighter has got inclose enough to employ his strength and have his way with the weaker fighter then its very hard to get him off you.

Golovkin has great power and good speed, not the fastest but speed, timing plus power (TRUMPS 2020) speed.

Strength will trump speed on equal terms. It’s really about timing!!! Those with equal timing I’ll take strength all day over speed!!

Strength of should I say power! That torque he generates from his legs is something special. Manny was made special by his power not his speed. One shot and you were done or the fight changed in his favor! Even when he was raw and landed that straight left it would hurt his foe even while partially blocked!
