Without it he would not be able to use a peek a boo defence and walk Zab down. Then what would he have done? Never seen such a huge pair of gloves no wonder he was hard to hit.

Don't you think maybe if he had smaller gloves, his hands would move faster also from less air resistance?

An elite fighter like Mayweather doesn't simply rely on glove size to pull off a gameplan. Cotto walked down Judah, did he require pillow gloves to do so?

They had the same size gloves. Floyd mitts appeared bigger because they were white and Winnings, the commentators briefly mentioned how Floyd's gloves look fatter since they it's Winnings.

He had standard 8oz winning gloves, a brand, he and many other fighters have worn countless times. They appeared to be huge as another poster said above because they were all white.

This was stupid ****ing question by the way.

As has been said multiple times they were 8oz winning gloves nothing out of the ordinary in weight or size.

They appeared large ONLY because Zab had on some very small gloves.

In any case an ELITE boxer does not rely on gloves to win a match.

I'm afraid this goes in the #stupidthread
