I know tucker was getting on but this was a guy whos chin had withstood Tyson and Lennox Lewis BOMBS

I think it was a really impressive victory and it shows how dangerous Herbie could be early on

It wasn't that early on, Hide had been around a long long time. Tucker looked really out of shape if I remember.

I meant early on in a fight sorry. Tucker was far from tip top as you said

Tucker was well and truly cooked by the time that Herbie got hold of him

Let's just imagine the Tony Tucker that fought Tyson in with Hide. That's when we would have seen how impressive Hide really was...

Hardly TNT Tucker at the time, but Hide could really punch, he hit harder than the majority of Heavyweights. He nearly killed Michael Bentt, smashed Tony Tucker and backed up Riddick Bowe.

More like KFC Tucker. But Herbie still needed to do a job on the guy and did it.

Herbie was a decent fighter. Could bang and had speed but mentally and chin wise he was appalling.

Very and Mickey Duff still thinks Hide is going to turn out to be the best of all the heavyweights coming through.
