On fight night Katsidis was a full-fledge WW and JMM handled him just fine.

Judging by your previous posts, I'm not sure that you're the one that can't work it out? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though and assume that you're not suggesting that the weight difference between Pacquiao and Marquez at their most recent weigh-ins was made up of 'muscle'...

Whether he does better or not is his own issue, Pacquiao isn't going to move down three weight divisions especially not for someone he already beat.

Best way to explain it. Both fighters can focus on their strategy and not just to cut weight. This would be fair for both of them. Let the skills pay the bills.

    No he was not.

You are comparing JMM's Katsidis fight night weight to his JMM-PBF weigh in weight. On fight night, JMM was heavier than 144 thats for sure.

Bear in mind fight night weight can include clothes too.

Pac at SFW weighed in on fight night the same as he did for Cotto official weigh in, look at pictures of him in the ring for both fights and tell me he was the same size.

Errr...how do you know what JMM weighed in against JMM on fight night, "in the ring"? This information was never announced. However, I should think that if he was 142 for the weigh in, after intentionally trying to put weight on for the fight, he would come in larger than 142 fight night.

Well @ 147 Cotto bulks up to around 156-158 come fight time unlike Pac who practically stays the same.

This is why boxing has to go back to Same Day Weigh-in's. This way fighters compete in weight classes they belong at!

PAc is staying around 140-144lb since 2006 its a huge achievement that he was able to fit the weight in at 130, 135 and he is playing a Cinderella against bigger guys saying that he aint even legit WW.

Why exactly would he have dehydrated to a weight that you say he had to intentionally put on weight to reach? You people are all over the place. Not that it's really relevant with regard to a Pacquiao fight where Pacquiao would weight mid 140lbs (ie the same as Marquez against Katsidis), but, go on, tell us how much you think Marquez weighed in the ring against Mayweather? Are you going to end up claiming that Marquez is actually naturally the bigger compared to the current Pacquiao?

"It's [moving up in weight] difficult, because I'm used to training and losing weight. When you train, you automatically lose weight. But I have to eat around 7,000 calories a day to keep the weight on. I have to get up in the middle of the night and eat eggs just to keep the weight on," said Pacquiao.

Roach: Nah We can't do 140... PACQUIAO is welter weight now.

Maybe if he accepts 140, he doesn't have to wake up in the middle of a marquez nightmare... and eat some eggs.

    :yep

but who cares, if it happens its gonna be at 147... so no worries.. Pac is still gonna struggle
