Some people act as if 46 is 66 years old. It's not that old and you can still be in great shape. Also, it's not like Hopking set some kind of record for punches thrown, and his opponent wasn't known for his activity either. Hopkins has always been the type to train hard and be relaxed in the ring. Athletes will use all kinds of supplements these days though, so I don't know who's completely clean anymore, but I hope Hopkins is clean.
    Boxing needs better testing.

I've been suspicious of Hopkins since the Tarver fight......but as far as trading bombs with Pascal?

If Pascal's next fight is against Chad Dawson.....when Dawson gets through dominating Pascal, all of a sudden Hopkins performance against Pascal is'nt going to seem so impressive.

It's not really a strong case because Pascal fades in the late rounds and makes his opponent look really good against him. In the early rounds Bernard really looked every bit his age, getting outworked. I thought he was going to get knocked out. One can argue that he conserved his energy to be able to turn it up when Pascal started fading. I wouldn't be surprised if Bernard saw this deficiency when Pascal fought Dawson. Makes sense for Hopkins to feel confident enough to exploit such weakness. But...hey, if you were to cry out for Hopkins to face a more strict drug test then I would be on board with it. I wouldn't have a problem with that at all.

Problem is... You can be the hardest worker and on peds as well...

You won't get the max benefit of the drugs if you don't train hard...

if you handpick your opponents correctly you can fight on and on for years, and boxing is not in a great era.

You mixing things, I'm just saying that being the hardest worker of the earth doesn't put you innocent.

I know alot of people that work way ****ing harder than me, put they don't pay alot taxes if you know what I mean.

Working hard doesn't equal being straight

THe chance that floyd is on peds is bigger then any other guy, just take peds in the period off, have a normal training camp and still have the benefits.
Make a claim about your rival doing it so you dont seem suspect.
its weird that he was a skinny little welter first but now looks like a full grown strong guy.
    hmmmm....

This argument so odd! Why should Hopkins gain any muscle mass when he is fighting for ages till now as a light heavyweight. If Bernhard took something it wasnt order to build up mass in muscles (for example like Roy Jones Jr. when he went for the Heavyweight Title against Ruiz. Jones is a proven cheat but ESB likes to turn a blind eye on Jones in this respect).
I am not a specialist like you. I dont assisst athlets in cheating nor I took any substances for myself. But if you ask me, if Hopkins took something it was at least EPO, something that increases your stamina. Of course Hopkins trains his ass off ass well, taking substances alone wont do the job.

By the way, Sergio Martinez, a former professional cyclist is highly suspect as well imho, even though I like watching him.
