That fact is a very large part, if not the largest part of the equation.
So how many guys that Hopkins beat would beat Calz.? Tito, DLH, Joppy, Johnson, Echols.............. IMO, zero

hopkin made his name from beating smaller fighters. calzaghe has beat fighters his size not welterweights! (and how you can call him calslappy when he have 30 kayos)

I thought it s funny on ESPN last night, they had Calzaghe's "notable wins"

    2008 Bernard Hopkins - Barley beat a 43-year-old Hopkins
    2008 Roy Jones Jr - A clearly washed-up 39-year old version of a past.
    2007 Mikel Kessler - C'mon seriously?
1997 Chris Eubank - Good win

The guy made a career out of fighting primarily in his own back yard against sub-par oposition. From oven up-and-commings to Beat-up aged warriors. Top 5 materail my ****ing ass.

    BHop's resume is FAR better.

Well Nigel Benn pretty much said he was the best fighter that ever lived. But then again, Nigel is a half a ****** these days.

I meant tell me what Keyboard warrior on here stated that.

Actuall warriors like Benn, and anybody that has been in the game can say what the **** they want, and if the TS was responding to something Nigel Benn had to say he should be clear about it.

The way folk are reacting on this thread is as if thats the opinion of the majority of Calzaghe fans, not the sole opinion of a former Boxer. Even tho Benn said nothing of the sort.
