When has canelo ever boxed? His footwork sucks and he moves like he's stuck in mud. And how is he going to "box" someone with a better jab and longer arms? If anything , GGG is the boxer here.

Canelo will get timed and picked apart if he tries to box GGG

Canelos best hope is to fight in no rhythm at all and change up what he's doing round after round constantly giving GGG different looks, making him wonder

Either way I think GGG will be ready for whatever Canelo is coming with and will KO him in a career best performance

My guess - he will try and counter, stay out of the way of harm and unload bursts of combinations to steal a victory. Extremely difficult to pull off but not impossible. He will be competitive I have no doubt but there is a strong possibility the extra bulk, firepower and aggression of GGG proves too much.

I think hes gonna try to counter off the ropes (which he is very good at) but that is horrible against GGG

I suspect he's spent most of his camp beefing up and posing for pictures (some just for DLH's benefit) and spent very little time on improving his technique, speed or game plan.

Facing a boxer puncher like GGG is going to be very new and very painful experience for the ginger one

Well I could see Canelo timing Golovkin effectively... gaining Gs respect as he lands solid counters, keeping G honest. Canelo is faster and does counter nicely... you dont have to have really swift feet to outbox someone like G.

That being said im not saying this is how i see it playing out... just saying i definitely see it as a realistic scenario.

He may try to counter most of the time and I doubt his trainers are stupid enough to let him do it off the ropes which he is decent at but against GGG it would be his fastest demise.. I think GGG's jab will be a nightmare for him.. I actually and honestly think he will try to fight and wont back down against GGG like many others think.. I think hes bulking up so he can use a techniche similar to Brookes thinking it will work for him because he is a bigger fighter than Brook.. I think were gonna have a real fight here ending in GGG's favor if thats the way it goes.. I guess were about to see it soon! Cant wait! :boxing1

My moneys on ggg. But tbf...to canelo theres no better time to get golovkin. Looked gassed in his last two fights. Canelos got to go for the body. One thing canelos got going for him is hes a big strong boy himself. No ones stood up to golovkin apart from jacobs but will be surprised if canelo gets bowled over. Hes solid in there. Looks freakishly strong. Got to try and push ggg back and go for the body. Would be stupid to try and box with him. Game plans got to be diffuse situations as in ggg,s attacks as best he can. Then invest in the body. Slowly start trying to push him back.

Ggg,s like tyson and guys like that. To beat them you ve got to find a way to push them back. Jacobs was doing it at times. Canelos would be stupid to try and box him...not really his game unless hes fighting someone as slow as molasses.

GGG doesn't do it as much, but even as a flat footed fighter, he can counter with the best of them. I think it will be disaster for Canelo when GGG starts to counter him.
