Danny Williams has shown no real dramatic decrease in performance..? due to being shot..!

It's due to his trainning habbits..

But one thing that stands Danny Williams in good sted is...! The man does not drink, booze has a caticbolic affect on the human body.

Fair enough he eats allot

I refuse to believe that Danny Williams is shot.....

His punch resistance, stamia is still all there....he take's 20 punch combinations for a laugh..

I like the kid, and i don't think it's over..!!!

if u were looking for an example of a shot fighter look no further than the 2 mcdermott fights and the truely awful performance against Sosnowski, he has been good for the game and done well out of the game but for gods sake quit

And how are you expecting anything from him if he can't even be motivated to get in shape after a hard career?

Whether he's shot or out of shape is really irrelevant, the fact is he sucks and has not shown any sign of improvement in his last 3 fights. All poor performances.

He needs a new training team, he has the skillset but no motivation

Danny Williams know's he can beat most of these domestic fighters easy....

When Danny Williams is motivated, he's a bad man...

He put himself in that position by losing to Audley Harrison so badly and having that awful fight with Skelton. That told us he is not above domestic level, which is why he is fighting at domestic level :?

Since then he's been performing poorly at domestic and fringe European level, so who are we supposed to realistically put him in with and expect him not to get his ass whooped?

Can someone point me to the most motivated Williams performance (apart from his one armed KO of Potter)

Tyson v Williams was a good fight. He gave it his all, chose to trade and eventually came off better. Tyson was obviously nowhere near his best but it was a good performance by Danny non the less.

His KO of Scott Gammer was good. I'm not sure if something was wrong with the scales but apparently he weighed 228 for that one!

Was it Airich where he had to also fight the ref and the oppositions promoter? That was a gutsy perfomance considering.

Kali Meehan! KOed in 1, that might be Danny's best.

Well if fighting Vitali in front of your whole family, with a whole nation behind you, doesn't motivate you then what will?

Motivation isn't his problem. The fact is he's just not as good people have made him out to be.

He was a good domestic fighter nothing more. And don't give me the mental issues excuse or any of your sports science arguments, they've been done to death.

But lets not forget he "knocked out Mike Tyson", the same Tyson who got knocked by McBride. Oh Danny Williams is a bad man isn't he. Of course he is he once knocked Mark Potter with one arm (never mind the fact Potter only had one eye)

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Danny Williams is a fine specimen of an athlete, he is in his prime and could destroy and fighter in the world!

Airich I'll give you, the ref was a disgrace as was the promoter, but I'd expect my Grandad to knock out Airich.

    But Meehan, Gammer? Come on.

Yep, Danny v Audley again, the clash of the titans.

The winner gets a shot at Haye/Vitali/Wlad/whoever the hell comes out on top after the running mens contract stupulations run out.
