A bit of a dry cough and some occasional headaches, but I'm not too alarmed...yet. More worried about my 75-year-old father, whose wife was tested on Friday after she'd been struggling with a fever and a really bad cough.

Most people get it and can cope apparently. You'll be about my age I reckon and the rate of actually dying for guys our age are way, way, way less than 1%. All that madness in Italy and only 2 of the people who had died this time last week didn't have an underlying health concern.

Could be a week in bed for you, hopefully not even that.

This, and also remember that this is allergy and hay fever season too. Could easily be that too.

Schools are closed...stores are closed...restaurants are closed...supermarkets and drug stores are open...we're told that unless you've got a bone sticking out of your leg...stay home!!! The wife and I are fine...the kids & their families are fine. We're basically staying home. Just heard that the US has 2,296 deaths in the US right now!!!
(March 29, 2020). Dr.Fauci has just said that the US COULD see 100,000 to 200,000 deaths before this is over!!! Hang in there folks.....

I have got my books, my writing, and my Netflix, and I can go out for a run when I want.

    Life is not all bad!

Yeah everything is closed in our town too, schools, restaurants you name it. We live in the middle of the good ole USA in Missouri. My wife and I spent almost $1,500 at the very beginning stocking up on any and everything we could possible need and she said we weren’t coming down off of our property until July. We don’t live far at all from town but are able to effectively isolate because we have land. We’ve been quarantined for like a month already, weeks before we even had a confirmed case in our town. Most of my friends and relatives thought at the beginning that we were being crazy and going a little over bored, people seem to feel differently now (most). Luckily I can 100% work from home for the most part and have been this entire time. My wife is on the web monitoring everything like all the time, all my info for the most part just comes from her. Both my kids are here, no one here in our home is sick or has been sick this calendar year. My Parents are also quarantined up at their place I had to convince them after the first few weeks to stop going to church and stay the F at home. I’ve been A member of this board since it was created but I’ve been on it more these last few weeks then I probably have the entire time I’ve been a member. Like the rest of you we also brought a bunch of old exercise equipment inside that was just sitting in the garage treadmills, ellipticals, bikes , weights because the gym was shut down pretty quickly as well in our town. We pretty much pulled out of everything well ahead of everyone else because my wife and I are both overly cautious people.

    Stay safe everyone.

I'm stuck at home for a minimum of 3 weeks ( it will be much longer ). Just me and my son ( 19 ). Tidying the house room by room. Phoning my mum & brother most days. Food shopping when I have to, watching tv & relaxing when needed. I actually don't mind time at home, although ask me in a month & you may get a different reply ! Strange times

Oh man, hope you and your father turn out OK and get through this.

My Pop went into the hospital last Sunday, he’s 78. Not c-virus related thank goodness. But he was anemic, body wasn’t absorbing nutrients so they IV’d him full of iron/magnesium/potassium and rehydrated him and got him home in two days ... said he’s better off there than in the hospital at his age with this stuff going around.

The next morning mom woke up and he was already cooking his own breakfast (eggs and bacon and toast) and even cooked an egg for the dog, haha. He had a few really good days with a big appetite and gaining strength but yesterday had a very low-energy day. I’m not sure we’re out of the woods yet but he’s doing better than he was.

Boxing and this forum, among other things, are helping me get through the work-at-home phases and I’ve got low-level cabin fever. Got out today and did some laundry and went to the grocery (we have toilet paper, haha, but today they actually had ground beef and a few other things that have been scarce). Think I’m grilling tonight.

Protect yourself at all times, people.

Working from home for the last 3 weeks
    Home schooling my two princes
Getting my skipping and circuits in as much as possible.
Using my kids as weights and core destabilisers
Going out for one run 3x a week as a family as early as possible.
Staying away from people and preparing for the UK to get fully shutdown.
Everyday realising how stupid most people are.

Stay safe guys ... Train at home as much as possible.
