I never said Armstrong was better, I'm just waiting to see if you can back up your claims. You started the thread after all. You asked how it was conceivable to judge anyone else superior to Robinson, I'm merely showing you how the argument could be presented. I'd have no problem with ranking Armstrong over Robinson or vice versa. They are obviously extremely close, along with the other 3 fighters I mentioned earlier. You're the only one who's being unreasonable by insinuating that Robinson is head and shoulders above everyone else.

I dont argue with you, for me he is the best ever after one particular guy and that has nothing to do with record or how many division he climbed or any other bull****. for me rjj is the best boxer ever because in his prime he was like an alien, unhumanly skilled, I doubt he even lost 1 singular round in his his 5 year prime time, what was around when he beat pazienza...

Why do you want me to back up my claims so much??? What is this a research session???? Ray Robinson didnt move all the way up to middleweight and just use his superior athlticism to beat his opponents. He stalked them! He outboxed them! He outmuscled them! He outwilled them. He was trully the most well rounded fighter in history. It's a matter of opinion I guess. You look at Ray in the ring tho, it looks like the p4p best to me... we would never know unless the two faught but im pretty sure robinson would have outboxed him... its like compairing floyd to pac, floyd outboxes pac in manys eyes in others he gets overwelmed and destroyed... jump on my dick anymore?????? if not goodday to you sir.

anyone can have explosiveness speed and power, but nobody has all of those combined with great boxing ability, robinson had the complete package where i feel that armstrong could have been stronger in, he was a lil week in some areas of his game IMO

there are many things one must consider about their lists. Tyson would be placed near the top if your talking about Primes. Im talking about overall careers

No, it's a thread that you started, berating anyone who disagreed with your opinions. I figured you must've had a pretty strong argument to have such a strong opinion on the matter. That doesn't seem to be the case.

He was a natural Welterweight. He was moving up 13 pounds. Plenty of fighters have done similar if not more impressive things in terms of weight jumping. If you're going to argue that he started his career lower, sure, but that's because he was young and undeveloped.

    Which Middleweights did he "out-muscle"?

    I agree.

They did fight, but Armstrong was well past his prime, not to mention the naturally smaller man. Ray out-boxed him handily.

    A bit.
