I know that this has probably been discussed already but can someone explain to me how the hell this guy has never KO'd someone when hes 6′ 4″ and over 235 on paper he would seem to be the perfect heavy. has he even scored a KD before?
His technique is horrible, he punches like someone who has never had any training, he can't even keep his wrists straight most of the time.
I think it was Nate Campbell who pointed out that he Dosent Turn his Punches over and it it ends up being more of a "Slap" then a Punch
It's shocking someone his size hasn't even managed to knock out a can. But he nearly had his first KO a year or so back against Albert Sosnowski on ESPN2.
yeah its wild...the only wins he has inside the distance was 2 fights he won on a DQ...a heavyweight who can't knock someone out...such an anomaly...i would also like to mention that he was also wobbling hasim rahman too before he was taken out in the final round
At this point, I think he likes the notoriety, and it almost seemed like he intentionally let Sosnowski off the hook so he wouldn't risk losing what distinguishes him from everyone else. There's video somewhere of him dropping someone prominent in sparring, but I can't remember who.
He's basically a snake who is more interested in getting out of the way than throwing punches of substance. He is better than you'd think for being a C+ heavyweight... His turding by Calvin Brock will forever define his career....
good fighter. worker fighter who gets inside and overpowers you...pretty strong guy. he punches slow but in combination which makes him hard to time and box...or even slug. you just gotta box and land the right cross followed by a left hook. if he did knock a guy out we wouldnt be talking about him which makes me think he wants to knock anyone out. isnt a he a school teacher?
