Depends on where the fight is taking place. Some states (United States) have a minimum round amount:

In Georgia the promoter must pay a minimum of $50 per scheduled round. So a 4 round fight at minimum is $200. If the fight ends before the final bell, the boxer still receives his full pay, barring any purse withheld or penalty.
