How is it that ali "lost his legs" and declined during the layoff?

Tyson won the first and fifth, and WAS winning the 6th following on from his showing in the fifth.

Then a low blow, a head-butt and a KD by Holyfield and after that it was a mixture of Tyson gassing and getting pounded by Holyfield. Tyson was also cut, I cant remember which round.

Even the stoppage, when Tyson wasn't fighting back was due to him gassing, Holyfield unloaded everything in the 11th and still couldn't put him down.

I think I had something like 3-2 to Holy after 5. But from memory there were enough close rds that anything from 3-1-1 to Holy to 3-2 to Tyson was quite possible. It seems like two of the judges actually had Tyson ahead after 5. They had Holy ahead by 4 pts after 10 rds, so assuming that they gave Holy every round after the 5th and had the 6th as a 10-8, they had Mike ahead by 2 after 5.

Boy for an alleged tyson fan you never give him the benefit of the doubt at all, holyfield was physically manhandling and pushing him the entire time but tyson wasnt hurt from punches to the head until much later, his legs didnt wobble or anything in the 2nd

He won the first and 5th very obviously, holyfield didnt and much in the first he was mostly just pushing and shoving tyson back with his physical strength in the first round

Go and watch the second round of their first bout and you will see Holyfield stuns Tyson badly with a right hand to the temple. The shot froze him and he even did a little jig afterwards, it scrambled his senses.

You seriously don't have a fcuking clue, Tyson was completely gone and out on his feet in the 10th round and couldn't recover for the 11th.

I think you're exaggerating. he was firing back in the second, if you count that as hurt then tyson hurt holyfield a few times as well.

Not true (although backing someone up when in physical contact with them -- pushing and shoving and such -- you have a point).

Every step you take in your everday life exercises your muscles for moving forward. Every step you take when you run.

Moving laterally or backwards requires running/walking/shadowboxing specifically gears to getting those muscles in shape.

If you don't believe me, go out and walk/run a mile normally. Then go out tomorrow and skip sideways for a mile. If you finish the latter, you almost certainly won't be able to walk the next day. That's because you don't use those muscles that way in everyday life.

If you've boxed you would know, obviously you haven't.....

Ask your friend Asser if he's found an answer to the question I put to him.

He likes to claim Tyson rocked and hurt Holyfield with the first shot he threw but then claims Holyfield didn't rank Tyson as the hardest puncher he faced because he never hit him with any shots, which is it....

would know what? I was never hurt like that in a fight or in sparring, although i have been down without being jelly legged or drunk. I have never boxed professionally though.
Holyfield had a tremendous chin, as good as tyson's, maybe better. tyson hit him with some good single punches. Things that hurt other fighters. i was impressed he took them without being in big trouble. the fact that he wasnt hit flush with combinations and rolled with most of the bombs is to his credit. Holyfield himself stated tyson didnt hit him with any of the big bombs by the way
when i say a fighter was hurt then i mean you can see it in his legs. maybe you and i have different standards.

Go and watch the second round and come back to me, if you can't find the point at where he was stunned then that says it all. Get back to me and if you can't see it I'll show you where to look.

He was stunned right after he tried a headfeint. right after holyfield that holyfield hit him with a right hand that stunned him, tyson ducked the hook and evander spun him. happy?
now the key word was stunned.

Yes and that's the way Tyson tended to react to shots, when hurt he was frozen in his tracks. He didn't really have jelly legs like a Amir Khan although his legs were unsteady on occasions.
