Good defense combined with constant pressure and a strong chin. Keep it up until Calzaghe gets tired or hurt then pounce on him and take him down. It's going to be a good fight.
By using his superior skill to focus 100%, his boxing mensa brain, his precision and patience. He will split JC in parts during the rounds and take over the fight from about round 4-5. MK will frustrate JC by winning each round by points superior until about round 10. MK will thereafter try will all his got to KO JC - he will give his all to show the world that he is not only a better point collecter, he´s also stronger and more chinned that JC. Maybe we will get a late TKO - maybe not. Can't wait. MK will win because he is the best allround ring general - NO DOUBT.
Of course Kessler has one of the best jabs around, however, that is not something that has ever troubled Calzaghe stylistically, therefore it only comes into play to a point. You could have the best left hook of all time, but if you have an opponent who is great at avoiding it, then it's only a factor to a point. Now against a prime James Toney, who was indeed vulnerable to a good jab, then it comes into persuasion very much so.
Calzaghe comes inside with his face down occasionaly, if Kessler had an arsenal besides his 1-2 and occaisional hook, he might throw an uppercut. He won't. Calzaghe will probably beat him, but if he doesn't Pavlik will beat the **** out of Kessler when he wins.
