Those guys were greats 10 years ago. Do you really believe the morales Pac faced was the same fighter who fought Chi, Barrera(1) and McCullough etc? if you do then your kidding yourself :?

I'd give him props for beating Guzman (if it happens this year) but I can see age getting to JMM in the mid to late rounds (Guzman is no spring chicken either but he seems to have decent longevity)

It's not the boxers fault of who they fight. It's the promoters, Boxers just give a go sign.

I don't accept calling Morales, Barrera and Marquez past prime. Saying it is already making them a downer. Give respect to boxers, age doesn't matter here. I saw guys 10 years older than their opponents, but kicked the living hell out of the younger guys(with good records).

Thats true sometimes, look at B-Hop, some of his best fights have came when he was considered an old fighter but in pacmans case I think the fact (as I mentioned earlier) that only 2 of his last 8 opponents were coming off a win adds weight to my arguement.

Surely people realise that the Barrera and Morales who fought each other in 2000 were different fighters than what we seen in recent months? (if not then im pissing into the wind)

Pac beat a STILL prime MAB when they first fought. Did you conveniently forget about that?

MAB was the man at that time and Pac destroyed him. Tell me who are these fighters your speaking of that couldve beaten him? Same with the Morales that lost to Pac in their 2nd fight. That "shot" version of Morales wouldve still beaten MOST of the fighters in SFW then and even now. In fact, the only ones I would favor over that version of Morales are JMM, MAB and Guzman. Besides those 3, who else couldve beaten him?? I would love to see your answer on this..

So for Pac to beat them VERY convincingly is nothing short of impressive. Please also remember that(as someone here already said) MAB was P4P No. 2 when Pac fought him the first time and Morales was still in the Top 10 P4P when Pac fought him the 2nd time if I remember correctly. So I'm sorry but past prime or not, older or not those 2 were STILL on top when Pac fought and beat them for the 1st time. You just have to learn to accept that.

By bating Barrera twice and Morales twice. And drawing to Marquez.
