How is Margarito the recognized welterweight champion?

Before the fight and after Floyds retirement I had this top 5.

1 Williams
1 Margarito
3 Cotto
4 Clottey
5 Quintana

Now its still the same, number 1 is still shared by Williams and Margarito.

 

Funny how i always read how margarito was ripping williams up the last few rounds of the fight, when in fact williams won the fight on the cards in the 12th. you make no sense
