How is Margarito the recognized welterweight champion?

1-1 against Quintana now it comes down to resumes where Margarito is clearly ahead. :deal

 

Nope and the 2nd fight should tell you why. Paul showed Carlos exactly where he stands compared to him when he comes to fight. Carlos was measured and found lacking.

 

He looked caught off guard to me. He should of moved around to give himself some space. He should give him a third fight since Quintana gave him a rematch. :yep

 

Looked like he tried to lunge in because that jab frustrated him and he walked directly into the trap. It was over, even Cotto didn't take him out like that.

If Carlos wanted a 3rd fight he would be out yelling for it, he isn't though, he is back in Puerto Rico wondering if his career is over or if he should try again.

What website, PM me a link. I saw something where Carlos said he wants to fight Paul Williams again, but that he doesn't know. Then he start talking about other WW and I knew what time it was. He was scared and he really didn't want to see Paul again.

 

Williams has one loss...which he avenged very recently.

Williams faced Margorito...and beat him recently, within the last year.

Williams is the man right now...those of you making the point that Margo should give Carlos a rematch because he received one, are off base. As champion Williams needs to face other champs or the next conteder, if Carlos wants to fight again after just being dispatched of, he needs to pick up another strap.

Those who argue on behalf of Margo's resume need to stop...for about 2 years Antonio has been bitching that he couldn't get a fight with any top guys, now his huggers want to plead his case based on his resume...I'm sure he'd be pleased and puzzled that you are so impressed with it.

I'm not saying Margo can't beat Williams, he certainly has a chance...but there is no way that it goes without saying, the events of the recent past are still too vivid in peoples minds. Some balance is called for.

I am kinda new to the site ok. The website I saw it one was b-o-x-i-n-g-s-c-e-n-e-.-c-o-m. You have to go to their archeives(i think thats how you spell it) to see it. He did ask for a rematch. :good

You ignore this part of what he said. It is clear to see that Carlos wants no part of Paul for real.
