Joyboy, I don't rate Margarito as the champ. But it's pretty ****ing hilarous that you'd rate your daddy Joyboy as the champ when he beat a nobody in Baldomir and a jr.welter Zab Judah. Does that qualify for champ status? Clearly not. Baldomir would have dropped that title to any one of the top 5 if it were them and not Floyd. That is a fact. Mayweather didn't prove **** at welter. Only that he, along with Baldomir, were probably the two weakest welterweight champions ever.

    Now **** off.

    BULL****!

    NO MAN????

Paul Williams has no problem facing this chicken. He called him out forever to get the first fight, and has to do it again! And you dumb****s keep putting him out there as the guy everyone is afraid of.

PAUL WILLIAMS IS NOT AFRAID OF MARGARITO, NO MATTER HOW MUCH HIS RABID FANS WANT TO THINK. HE WHIPPED HIS AS (CLOSE, BUT CONVINCINGLY) AND WILL WHIP HIS ASS AGAIN!

Margarito cannot be legitmately regarded as the top Welter as long as there is another guy out there who has RECENTLY beaten him, took his ****in belt, still has it, and is trying to fight him again!

    WHAT THE ****!!!???!!!

What does Floyd Mayweather have to do with this thread?

Add to that he was the linear/universally recognized/undisputed welterweight champion ... I don't know how much more you have to prove? ... and he did something that Margarito has never done and win a light middleweight title in his first fight in that division.

I'm sorry but you don't mention Mayweather and Margarito in the same breath ... this guy got his fame off beating 1 legit fighter and only time will tell rather that win was legit.

Mayweather beat the top #3 welterweights in the division in his first 3 fights ... Judah #3 and Baldomir - the champion !!

A DRAW?! Clottey deserved a draw inasmuch as Margarito deserved a draw against Williams.

Williams beat Margarito - yet becasuse Margarito beat Cotto, thats all forgotten now? ... I don't get that --

You bandwagon jumpers kill me and you guys need to be exposed.

Atleast Floyd took the game to another level and accomplished more in 1 yr at welterweight and light middleweight than Margarito has his whole career.

He was exposed as a fraud once he lost to Williams ... who took him on and beat him. (in his first title fight to make things worse and Margarito was holding on to that bull**** strap for years and hadn't fought anyone while defending it)

Floyd offered him a fight and he declined ... now that he's retired, Margarito is living off his name ... WHAT A JOKE AND A 1/2

Your memory does NOT serve you correct... DUMB****. Paul cruised into rounds 8-11, took Margo's best **** in round 11 and came out in Round 12 and DOMINATED... Boxing clinic.

You dumbasses can buy Margo's excuses all you want, but until he proves it, he shouldn't get credit for being better than someone who CLEARLY beat him recently.

Freddie ... I know you're of hispanic decent ... but you can't tell me that winning the linear title/ring magazine, recognized undisputed title, and IBF & WBC titles isn't an accomplishment.

Margarito has yet to do that and his only time campaigning at 154, he lost ... Mayweather won a title ... held titles at 2 different weight classes at the same time. (147 & 154)
